I was talking about Griffiths being a busted flush since 2018.

Morelos is a busted flush now, he's had his moments but he's nowhere near the player he was in 2019.

Ah right misread that.

He was fine under GvB last season but unfortunately got injured.

His fitness this season has been unacceptable and a lot of that is down to him but if MB reckons he could get him back to his best I would support it.

I do think a fresh start probably suits all parties.

Colak's also having one of the best seasons of his career and isn't going to be enough to carry us to the title on his own.

Roofe will be here but dose he stay fit? Sakala an out and out striker? I see six or seven new faces next season with plenty going the other way, one or two will surely be in the striking department to make up the required numbers.

Colak has scored 19 goals or more in 3 of the last 5 seasons and then also has 17 this season already too. in Croatia, Sweden and Scotland. Poor in Greece.

So that would be 4 very good seasons in the last 6. With one scoring 26 goals and another 22 goals. Hardly an anomaly.

Neither are good enough to be the main striker, no point comparing the two anyway.

Is he? Pretty consistently scores well over the last 6 seasons.

Yes. He's managed to score more than 20 twice in his career and he's currently on his 4th highest tally for a season. Not sure he'll beat his best for a season (26) but definitely on track to hit his second (22)

Absolutely. We paid £1m for Morelos, with an average of 12 goals a season.

If we can't replace and upgrade upon that, scrap the full thing.

122 goals in under six seasons isn't an average of 12 goals a season

17//18 - 18  goals

18/19 - 30 goals

19/20 - 29 goals

20/21  - 17 goals

21/22  - 18 goals

22/23 - 10 goals

Sorry, should have specified domestic league season.

17/18  - you're incorrect scored 16 goals in total (14 in the league)

The rest adjusted for domestic league season:

18/19 - 18

19/20 - 12

20/21 - 12

21/22 - 11

22/23 - 9*

*Current.

17/18 - 14 goals in the league. Two in both domestic cups. (2 v Ayr, 2 v Dunfermline).

Since when do we only count league goals? Ally McCoist scored 355 goals for Rangers not 251.

Surprising that. Thought they would be higher. His goals for domestic minutes really haven’t been that impressive, particularly the last few years. Roofe actually has a much better record. (Although never fit).

Morelos also good for the odd red and dropped points each season.

Should be replaceable

Ally McCoist was superb in league football, since when do we overlook our bread and butter?

Alfredo Morelos has managed 74 Premiership goals in six years.

His performances in the domestic league are far below what you expect of a Rangers striker.

Where is including his league goals in his goal tally 'overlooking' the league?

McCoist was fantastic in the league but, ultimately, he scored 355 rather than 'just' the 251 in the league.

You've taken me wrong here, I'm not saying other goals should be discounted.

But the league is our bread and butter and it is where we expect players to perform, it is what players are judged upon before anything else.

Alfredo Morelos' league performances for Rangers are more than replaceable.

European Alfredo Morelos is a different story. But we need to actually be getting there first.

Forget Roofe. He’s like a bird who seems to have the painters in every time you get frisky.

The old Alfie was great but he’s long gone and hoping that some miracle will restore him is kidding yourself on.

Two mobile, pacy forwards required as a minimum to replace Morelos, Roofe and Wright.

Would upgrade Sakala too if possible but there’s a limited budget and other positions (ie goalkeeper) need addressed too.

Be good to see more game time for Ure, Lovelace etc.

And whatever happened to Alegria?

Flopped on loan, Falkirk I think?
