I would like to see us buy players that fit in a different formation. I've gone off the 4-3-3. Our front players are too isolated.

Desser's is shite, we all know that, he's playing because we have no other fit striker

Sima/McCausland are your typical wingers, blow hot and cold, both have sparks in them and showed it today, McCausland especially going forward although he has a lot to work on defensively.

Cantwell is the massive issue, he's the guy to link it all together and was fucking shocking, we don't have that player in the number 10 role to dictate the game and that's why we struggle.

People can get all misty-eyed if they want about a wee guy from the academy making it through to the first team, but he is absolutely miles off the level we need.

Don’t want to lay into the boy as he shouldn’t be anywhere near starting for us. 

He’s been tidy enough but as you said, miles off the output we need. And he’s poor defensively.

Hopefully will develop into a cracking wee player in time.

and yet not 6months ago, millions were spent on improving our final third options from an uninterested pair who ran down their contracts.  Disgusted is not an understatement; you only need to count up the dough spent on Matondo, Lammers, Dessers and Danilo. That's just to name a handful without much thought given to it.
