I seem to remember Ramos getting a late straight red for violent conduct in the first Clasico back after winning the World Cup with half of the Barca team

The games between those two over that 2010-2012 period were brilliant entertainment.

Mourinho poking Tito Vilanova in the eye then claiming he had no idea who 'Pito' (penis) Vilanova was

He managed to turn Xabi Alonso from one of the classiest players in the world to one with a worse disciplinary record than Ramos and - incredibly - Pepe.

Wasn’t that in just a Super Cup game as well, rather than a title deciding game or Cl game?

Can't remember if it was Super Cup or the Copa del Rey semi final.

I think it was when they played a ridiculous number of games against each other over a short period of time.

Loved the 2011-12 team.

A bunch of savages at the back and the most exhilarating counter attacking football I've seen in front, with two great, but tough, footballers in Khedira and Alonso gluing the whole thing together in the middle.

Uefa is investigating England midfielder Jude Bellingham for a gesture he made following his late equaliser against Slovakia in the Euro 2024 last-16 tie on Sunday.

European football's governing body says it is looking into a "potential violation" regarding "the basic rules of decent conduct" by Bellingham.

Bellingham was seen making a crotch-grabbing gesture towards the Slovakian bench after scoring an overhead kick in stoppage time.

The Real Madrid player denied it was aimed at England's opponents, saying on social media that it was an inside-joke directed towards some close friends.

If found guilty, the 21-year-old could face a suspension, a fine or both.

England and Southgate been pilloried and rightly so but France have been the worst ‘big’ team at this tournament.

England have been far worse.

France had a group of Netherlands, Poland and a very good Austria team and are now playing Belgium. England have had Slovakia, Serbia, Slovenia and Denmark.

France haven’t scored a goal from open play.

4 Centre halves across back

3 centre midfielders.

Fuck knows what that’s supposed to be playing up front for them. They’re basically a 1 man attack.
