Does the ball not need to be put over into the other half of the field for a kick off? I thought that's why theres always 2 people standing there. Therefore needing someone else to touch the ball I may be wrong but thats just my understanding

*Manticore* 1,893
Striker goes back to defend corner but scores own goal. Picks ball out of the net and goes to kick off. He hits the ball in the air and charges forward. He is tripped when he gets in the area, the Ref gives a pen and he catches the ball and scores the penalty. Ref blows for half time. Second half he kicks off and does the same thing.

*Manticore* 1,893
surely some one else has to touch the ball to kick off though? If he kicked the ball up the park, he couldn't touch it again until somebody else does, but he could still be fouled. He can touch the ball again if it has gone out of play ie when the penalty is awarded.
