45 mins - PREUSSEN MUNSTER 0-1 RANGERS. It hasn't been a great first-half showing from Gers but

40 mins - Loose tries to level for Preussen but his effort loops behind with the aid of a deflection for a home corner and although the hosts can't make it count, the brilliantly-named Massih Wassey does force a good stop from Alexander moments later.

39 mins - Thomson is really lucky to stay on the park after a late challenge. He's made a few of them today and his over-enthusiasm could soon prove costly.

38 mins - It's a yellow card for home player Massimo Ornatello after a crunching tackle on Sasa Papac. He joins Thomson in the book, who was cautioned earlier.

36 mins - GOAL! It's the first goal of the summer for Rangers and Adam is the scorer. He rolls a cool penalty low into the bottom right-hand corner with his left foot and sends Buchholz the wrong way.

35 mins - PENALTY! Miller plays a clever ball through for Darcheville to chase and he gets to it ahead of Buchholz, who hauls him down. If this had been a competitive game, there's every chance the keeper would have been sent off.

26 mins - Rangers haven't really got going yet and their performance has been fairly low-key but Dailly tries to spark them into life with a long ball up to Darcheville, only for Buchholz to beat the Frenchman to it.

21 mins - Loose is the most prominent player on the park at the moment and he cuts back to Marius Sowislo, whose shot is scrambled off the line by Dailly at the back post.

18 mins - Back come Gers and Adam centres another corner, with Dailly nodding just over the upright after home keeper David Buchholz comes for the ball and misses.

17 mins - Preussen respond with a shot of their own after good build-up play by Loose but Neil Alexander holds the ball well.

16 mins - Miller and Jean-Claude Darchville link up well, with the Frenchman through on a goal and a last-gasp tackle all that stops him from getting his effort on target.

10 mins - Miller does well to win Gers their first corner and Charlie Adam swings it in, picking out Christian Dailly. His knock-down lands at David Weir's feet but he can't convert.

9 mins - Rangers are starting to find their rhythm now and Steven Whittaker knocks the ball upfield to Kenny Miller but he is caught offside.

5 mins - Julian Loose releases the ball from a tight angle and only succeeds in finding the side-netting. Preussen are the team coming forward more at present but they aren't doing much with their possession.

2 mins - Preussen win a free kick and although it deflects behind from 25 yards, the resulting corner again poses little threat.

0 mins - After almost three weeks of training, Rangers' first pre-season game is finally underway. The hosts kick off and quickly force a corner, which comes to nothing.
