He had one or two good touches, nearly got a goal and his pass to Stevie Davis who then laid in Boyd for the 4th goal was fantastic. Anyone else now think he may be getting back to his best. This was a good performance IMO. mendes got ahead of him a few times today the team played better, but hey it was hamilton ffs but lets hope it gives them the confidence theyve been lacking in recent games Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
davy1shoe 63 Posted December 7, 2008 Share Posted December 7, 2008 He done alright. Long way to go. Too many times Mendes was breaking and Ferguson was stilll too close on his toes. Yup running along side him like "lets charge togther" while Mendes was looking for his quick passes he likes to do. not sure but i think Barry ran into one of his passes at one point giving the ball away. RyanMac 185 Posted December 7, 2008 Share Posted December 7, 2008 Lets stop with 'hey its only Hamilton', they flooded the midfield with 5 players, some of which would walk into most SPL teams. Barry had a good game considering he's still trying regain full match sharpness, he was rushed back due to Thomsons' injury. I also agree that its going to take time for him and Mendes to gel(they both play the same way), but the team we are playing when they do better realize it's nothing personal.
