It would destroy dressing room morale for the game.

It would also be a massive distraction in lead up to game that would benefit no-one.

How do you know it would destroy dressing room moral?

Don't you want to share your opinions on Tav and the cup final?

Tav has been very poor last two Old Firm games.

They will target him with pace on the wide open spaces at Hampden.

He's a liability.

He's been poor for a while tbf,

But the wee fan boys will get upset because he's scored the most goals for a right back in British football history but has won only One title as a Rangers Captain

You can think he’s been shite, shouldn’t be here next season and also think it’s the right and smartest decision to play him. It’s not rocket science

Its not the right and smartest decision to play him, however due to injuries etc its the only decision clement has

With a full squad id have balogun out at right back

Common sense tells you that dropping the club captain for a cup final isn't a smart idea. It becomes a distraction and a sideshow and puts whoever gets the captains armband under more pressure.

Remember when Barry Ferguson was dropped by Le Guen and Gavin Rae was captain for a game or 2. Didn't go so well, did it?

What I will say is that Tav owes us a massive performance on Saturday whether that's to show he is worth keeping, or a final bow where he can leave with his head held high.

Completely different situation.

Barry Ferguson getting dropped was nothing to do with ability. It was because he wasn't prepared to except losing.

How do I know he is better in midfield? Because we have seen him in both positions and he’s by far and away better in midfield?

You are completely missing the point,

Again,  mate he is a right back

No buying that either.

The players can more than likely see he's a liability just as well as we can.

We're nowhere near good enough to be playing 2 fullbacks who like to get forward either.

Hrs a free goal for the scum almost every time we play them and it'll be no different next weekend.

Whatever the circumstances, dropping your captain is disruptive and doesn't always improve results or performances.

There's enough for the team to work on this coming week and they need to focus on that. Tav being dropped and the controversy that would cause is a shitstorm they don't need.

You seem reluctant to answer specific questions. Do you even WANT Rangers to win the cup?

Given the time and expense following Rangers home and away, I think it's safe to say that @RFC55 wants us to win the cup.

Has to play the cup final tbh. We'd be daft tying a hand behind our back, as much as he is on the decline, we can't nullify our attacking threats anymore than they are.

Should he be here next season? No.
