Bluenose_Pete 4
So whats gonna happen next week then? If hes dropped for this game and i was him, id be away to fuck in the transfer window ASAP! Should he start? I say yes. Will he score? I say yes. Amac9 2,060
If Boyd does not play next week, he should leave as soon as the window opens. But everyone knows if he is given half a chance there is usually one outcome.
KERRZO 5
Boyd will defo start, this is his acid test!!!!
TMWWBK 0
I'm one of his biggest critics, but he has earned the right to start next week. Outwith the troublesome left mid spot and maybe right back, the team picks itself.
Speuan 1
It would be the biggest surprise of the season if he doesn't start.. In my view he will start and score..
jonoger1984 4
He'll start, he's earned his place in the big games
Pedro 32
If he doesnt Id be really pissed
nvager 498
Who could replace him? Novo? JCD? Lafferty? No - Boyd will start - is not even debatable.

NOLUWDC 1
I wouldn't mind seeing Aaron come up against Hinkel :unionflag:
Bluepeter9 5,167
Boyd deserves his start and to carry on starting whether he scores or not.
demise 3,573
Boyd scored enough goals this season,he`ll score again next saturday .WS isn`t that stupid to leave him on the bench. And i hope he`s not that stupid to play McCulloch aswell. bluepeter 5,627
I don't think there's any doubt that Boyd will start next week. Surely everyone can see that Walter thinks Boyd and Miller are the steady front two for us. He's right too.
ScotBear 144
I think, against his better judgement, Smith will start Boyd in this game. I don't think he'll trouble Celtic or score though. Would love to be proved wrong. I actually think this is a game that could make Lafferty if given a chance up top, whether that's from the start or off the bench. He's got the tools to ask serious questions of Celtic, it's just not come together for him yet.
superally29 0
It's taken years to find a capable & effective front-two striking partnership - We seem to have FINALLY got it, Boyd starting beside Miller is an absolute No-Brainer !!!!
Imodium 412
I'm one of his biggest critics, but he has earned the right to start next week. Outwith the troublesome left mid spot and maybe right back, the team picks itself. I'm with you mate. I thought he put 110% in today and cannot be dropped next week. In fact it's probably one of the easier team selections we have to make all season. Bougherra at CB, Kirky at RB, Novo for Lafferty on left. 4-0 gers and back on track for the league title. HighlandBear 1
He really couldnt not start boyd next week, barring injury, he should be the first name on the team sheet, as he's the only man who is banging them in.
ricksen_da_best 2,034
Its got to be Mcculloch up front?

Okay so let me get this straight, Boyd has scored more goals than anyone else so far this season, improved his all round game, yet you would rather untried, untested, unproven Lafferty played up top, seriously where has Lafferty shown he has the tools. I believe in years to come Lafferty will be a big player for us, but just now you go with a front two (Boyd and Miller) and play a natural winger on the left because Hinkel is a joke of a RB. RangersJamie52 0
I reckon he will start. I also think that there will be a few surprises in there!
outlaw69uk 123
It would be the biggest surprise of the season if he doesn't start.. In my view he will start and score.. like he did last time he started against them

Briton 394
Can't see Boyd not being picked for this one. Still has to prove himself in these games though.
