Ryan_1 1,136
.....next season will he be kept out of the team because of Ferguson? Clearly Walter ain't going to drop Ferguson or Mendes (if there here at that time) so is Thomson going to have to make do with the subs bench and then probably be offloaded to a Premiership team. How can we do that to IMO our best midfielder and a potiential future captain, just because Walter won't drop, 'Golden Boy' Ferguson. If we don't win the league this season, Walter needs to go if he doesn't drop Ferguson soon!

IMO Thomson was in better form than BF, whether that is the case when he returns from injury remains to be seen. Would much prefer to see a midfield 4 of Thomson Mendes Ferguson and Davis rather than a 3. :unionflag:

Andy 69
We miss Thomson big time . We Need a Manager who can see what needs changed and change it. Not one who can see what needs done ( BF should be dropped, Steve Davis playing Central , wide players etc etc etc ) and do fuck all .
Stu1993 101
I cant see thommo fergie and mendes workin in that midfield together for some reason. Id rather have thommo than fergie
LegendofCoop 17,313
Arguably....no DEFINATELY our best performance this season was at the Piggery. It's no co-incidence that BF & KB weren't playing that day. That tells me a lot. Thomson does a lot of unselfish work & contributes a shit load more than Fergie has this season. If Smith can't see that then he's fuckin insane!

*Manticore* 1,893
We've missed him big time, Kaunus aside, his injury is when our season started to fall apart.

TexasGers 96
It's scary to see how many points we've dropped since Thomson went down. We miss his tackling and hard work, no nonsense style immensely.

Jimfanciesthedude 24,552
the scary thing is that thomson IS good enough for the premiership so theres no doubt if the finances are still buggered when he's fit he'll be flogged to the first relegation candidate for a shitey wee sum and ruin his career in the coca cola championship because his team couldnt stay up

D'Artagnan 13,319
Cant see any of our current midfield keeping KT out of the team. Any if anyone has any foresight - he should be made captain - so long as he learns to control his impulsiveness at times.
