Is the big name that is going to be sold going to be McShagger then? Ceefax say Shay Given is in talks with Man City.

if one was gonna go then i would rather it was mcshagger or ferguson rather than boyd, pedro or bougherra

Newcastle were rumoured to be going after David James if they sell Given.

I said ages ago when all this was going on evryone thought boyd would go

i said Mcgreggor would go

I think newcastle will ditich the bid for james and go for Mcgregor

would happily sell shagger, good enough replacement in alexander

plus 4-5 mill for shagger is great business

Disagree, would want/expect at least £7 million for him.

you might want/expect, but we won't get that kind of money for him

i reckon a 4mill bid would get him

Wouldn't let him go for 4m, that's pish money if you consider the price Sunderland paid for Gordon.

Worst of it is you're probably right :anguish: Really wouldn't be happy about it though!

Might be pish, but we reportedly put a £7.5m tag on his head. I'd be surprised/dissapointed if Murray let him go for less than £6m!
