Hi All, It gives me great sadness to announce the passing of one of our own, Ben (@ben51 / @GabrielTomato / @Clemdog) yesterday. As you may have been aware from his posts on it on this board, Ben has been battling his demons for a period of time and sadly yesterday he succumbed to them. We are devastated to lose Ben. He was a funny, caring and intelligent young man who has been lost to the world far too soon. I know many people on this board knew Ben in person and will be very upset by this. Please hold your nearest and dearest close to you. Please reach out if you are struggling and please also ask people in your circle if they are struggling. Creag Robertson was quietly promoted to Director of Football Operations and Steven Davis explicitly said that Creag and Bisgrove contacted him. Why the fuck has Robertson been promoted to that role and why does that role involve speaking to prospective managers? Another fucking mediocre nobody. We're demanding too much of him right now and from what Sterling has shown so far, he is absolutely miles off it attacking-wise. He's 32 in 2 months. We can't expect him to play in such a demanding formation against top opponents IMO, otherwise they will continually take advantage of it. We all know that historically Tav has never been the best defender - he upped his levels over the last few seasons and an element of this was masked by just how good he has been going forward - but last night we got absolutely nothing out of Tav apart from one foray forward. Don't think Devine is anywhere close to being good enough either, so this is definitely an area we need to look at. I wish that, instead of asking nonsense questions about points they can generate clickbait from, the media actually started challenging Beale on some of this stuff.
