As an ex-ref.........I have to say ...the ref today was outstanding.

kept his cards in his pocket at the right time..... let the game flow...........he was superb

ok....he got the 'throw in ' wrong.......... but that's football........

I would score him 9/10

Whoever it was who halfed Barrie Mckay from behind should have been off.

Johansen and I was thinking the same, in any other game it might have been given, refs never want to dish out a red in old firm games if they think they can avoid it.

Often refs get a bad rap, but there is so much pressure on a referee and technology in football isn't on the level that it is in other sports to help a referee make an informed decision. The way that I saw it though, it was a tackle from behind with no attempt to play the ball, stopping a potential goal scoring opportunity.

Ref wasn't too bad and he was spot on with the throw in that led to McKay's goal :D

If people want to be fussy about the throw in then the free kick given against Halliday that led to their series of corners where they got the equaliser from was never a free kick so they'd never have scored......its fucking ridiculous. If Celtic did get that throw who's to say what would have happened just sour grapes and excuses at the ready.

No tin hat needed mte, I thought he was excellent.  Let the game flow, was in communication ith the players and brandished cards only whn needed.  A good solid performance.  Oh and e over ruled his linesman.:D

As a current ref and an assesor i would only mark him at 7.5 got most of the big calls right but his cards were inconsistent and that would mark him down on appllication of law hence the marking

I love the fact that footy is about opinions.....................

some we get.................. some we don't....................

today was our day.      thought ref contributed to a great footy match.........it wasn't all about him.....which has often been the case in the past
