The best about it is that the bheggars have all found love again for lego-bhoy after mostly hating him for his inept performances the last few seasons.

They now want him to stay to show our Joey who's boss.

Unfortunately for them he is pish poor and Joey isn't.

He is winding that cunt Brown up, he had that sitting in his back pocket all along and Brown just walk straight into it.

Gonna be meaty at the begger dome in September and I can see Brown getting sent off or carried off as Barton is not a kid on hard  man on the pitch, Barton unlike Brown can take it, he has been a target for years by opposing players and fans, let's see how Brown likes it when he can't kick his way through the game as this midfield we have now won't allow it

This is all well and entertaining, but I hope Joey can back it up.

There is no doubting that he's intelectually above Brown, but the jury is still out on who will "lose it" when we play them at Parkhead in September, in my opinion.

Let's not forget that, whilst in his deep, philosophical stage, Barton almost cost QPR relegation and essentially handed Man City the league title when he lost it at the Etihad a few years ago. When the going got tough and the stake got higher, he stuck the knee in Aguero, tried to header Kompany and wanted a square go with Balotelli.

That's plenty of talking, Joey. Focus on the football and do your talking on the pitch, then start ripping him when we've got our hands on 55.

On a side note, the "champions" press conference, their captain's first words of the season and they've got a new manager, but the Queen's eleven are the talking point.
