BTW it get's quite annoying when figures from 20-30k a week are being banded about. Burnley had a wage cap of 15k last season and it's been said by Dyche and MW that Barton took a significant wage cut to be here. At the most he's on 12k a week. We'll be seen as desperate to get rid of him so any club coming in for him will be hoping we'll just be glad to get him off the wage bill and take him for fuckall.
