What’s the benefit of Butland leaving to be a number two elsewhere though? Obviously he would be well paid but he had that exact opportunity a year ago and he came here because he wanted to play football.

Just because you went through the youth ranks and got rated as a right back then doesn't mean you always have to be a right back by default.
