Aye, agree that at the moment it still is just hope but people need to calm the fuck down and let the boy settle and see how he goes. I have said from the start that given his injury problems and missing pre-season it would be next season we could really hope to see the best from him imo. All players moving to different countries take different times to settle and get used to the different culture and style of football. In contrast we had Katic take to it like a duck to water, great performances and tipped for massive things, then shit went wrong and he was woeful in recent performances and even subbed at half time. Now if the rumoured personal problems he has are correct then it's totally understandable but we really don't know what's going on in their private lives but they are only human after all and all manner of things can affect them. He's quick and direct he just lacks a bit of conviction just now probably because he's not been physically right. We rotate players a fair amount so I think opportunities will come for him. He has some pedigree internationally and also being recognised as Osijek's best player so I for one am not writing him off yet.
