It's a busted flush, SFA will keep him on for the WC campaign - even if we go through to EURO2020 or not. They are skint and can't afford to go through another recruitment/payoff.

No drama, they will just fine Rangers for something.

Serves the SFA right for binning McLeish, a manager that had actually won things and managed at a high level, for this dour plastic pitch 10 men behind the ball wank.

Scotlands only chance of getting to EUROS is via the nation's league playoffs. Wonder if the tartan trannies will remember who was the manager that won that for them.

Willie Miller having a go at Clarke here  surprisingly, the commentator, whoever he is, said "steve Clarke cant be judged against Belgium". He gets a free hit that McLeish never ever got.

Sums it up for Scotland at the moment, honestly they should just pack it in fa d withdraw for the WC groups - rebuild and save further embarrassment. They are losing fans in their droves every match.

Swiftly forgotten, even before the Khazkstan game the knives were out for McLeish - remember all the EBT articles in the press in the run up to the game?? Well, his haters of a certain persuasion have got exactly what they deserve now!!
