He was good for 5 minutes until TAA came along. Didn’t realise he was still at Liverpool.

Liverpool paid about £15m for Clyne and have been paying him £70k/week for the last 5 years.  He must’ve been good at one point.

Oh aye no point in giving academy lads a  chance , , just close down the hummel , far  better  blowing millions on journeymen  topping up their pensions and  putting the club at risk again .

Future of the club must take priority over an alleged  9/10  in a row

Hardly a journeyman playing backup to the best attacking full back on form in the world at one of the strongest teams in the world with 14 caps for england.

And I'm not saying never play him, it's just pie in the sky if you think throwing in an academy player at the pressure of our club and support in this current situation would be a good idea

He’s not playing back up at all. He’s been punted out on loan.

Because liverpool didnt have any major injuries in the past season and a half maybe? He was their number 2 right back, but TAA got the position and hasnt lost it since.

Lallana is another example I've seen folk slate on here, because hes not good enough for liverpool. He is one of the most technically gifted players in the league it's just whether his body can cope with the demands of a physical league that should be questioned, not his ability at all.

Surely Bournemouth  would sign him if he was half as good as Stevemac appears to reckon

Injuries and wages are probably off putting. That and they are relegation fodder.

Why no go for someone who has no injury probs and would command an affordable fee and wages like say Bockaj who played well against us , unlike these fantasy signings that would ask a fortune

Bockaj who was sacked by osijek? Absolute nut case. No injury problems and an affordable fee wont be an upgrade on tavernier.

Dont want another Kent , a loan who we turn around and then charge us through the nose for a player that would have been worth sod all

Aye Bockaj was stupid but he may have learned his lesson but there are others from similar clubs that represent far better value than Clyne would.

Defoe was on a 100K a week at Bournemouth  that's why we had to wait until his contract run out to sign him , so doubt it's wages

Defoe wasn't on 100k a week, 65k which we were apparently taking on 50% which I also find a bit sceptical

Is that the lad that came on as a sub a Ibrox and played on the wing?

Pretty sure you wanted us to sign Alan Hutton a few months ago.
