    I wasn't at any of the games, but I've been to 100's and 100's of games at all levels over the years and the biggest defeat I've witnessed was 7-0.

    On 12th May 1997 in the final Youth League game Rangers fielded a very young team against Cowdenbeath Under 18's because they were playing Celtic in the Youth Cup Final two days later.

    Two players I remember who played in the game were Stephen Hughes and Stephen Dobbie, both were 15, the young team collapsed in the final 15 minutes losing 5 goals.

    They lost the final 3-2 to a last minute penalty.

    Cole had made good progress and was one that looked likely for first team football.

    A concern was that after initially doing well on loan at Thistle, he lost his place I think initially through injury, he got stuck on their subs bench.

    Hopefully the recent break into the first team again can see him kick on.

    I have watched Brandon three times in recent weeks and I have to say i've been impressed. He had a good first half yesterday, but United rarely threatened after the break and as a consequence he was pretty quiet.

    He is new into pro youth coming from boys club football pretty late. He only joined United from Thorn Athletic in the summer and as a 2006 this is his last year as an Under 18.

    Any players that shows up in a game is worth keeping an eye on on in my opinion.
