    Not the total reason for pulling out in my opinion.

    As it stands and without significant recruitment Rangers wouldn't be competitive in the Lowland League. Rangers won't field a team that would finish mid table.

    Of the 13 U19/U20 players eligible only two played regularly in the Lowland League last season plus Lovelace who will still be U18. Along with Leon King he should really be playing at a higher level.

    Certainly dropped in recent years, only six or so progressed to pro contracts from the academy in each of the past two years. Better players released than some we have recruited in my opinion.

    I bit more optimistic in this year's group, we will go into the new season with seventeen U17's. Only two of what was this year's U16's have been released and two recruited from Linfield.

    At 16, which Bailey turned in October you can only sign a two year contract. Highly rated players usually also get a third year option which is allowed. That generally kicks in on their 17th birthday, I would expects Bailey be on two years with one year option.
