from a derby lads POV i walked in our (Derby) main boozer at 10.45am to a wall of Rangers singing dancing drinking, red, white, & blue, hardly any Derby about. walked 20m mins to the ground, red white blue all the way, arriving at IPRO was obvious Rangers support pissed over derby's turn out. The noise from inside made us all anxious to get in to the East stand where there was a great view of the Rangers end behind the south stand goal. walking in the noise was reverberating around a normally pre season quiet stand. We were met with a wall of red white & blue which didn't stop singing until half time despite shit from both teams for 45 mins. Derby fans gave it some but only 7 - 8000 turned out plus loads of Bears in the home fans seats. Second half started muted, but after a few rounds of god save the queen etc both sets fans were singing, clapping each other. TBH Sheffield was a better 90 min atmosphere but night games always are for some reason? 70% of city center pubs were dry by 7pm with bears still singing bouncing long after the booze ran out, met lots of new pals today from Livingston Clydbank Aireshire Perth Cumbria Stoke Never let the football get in the way of a great day out at the football
