  1. Yeah he was the big man at Blackpool and thrived. Not happening for him yet at Liverpool, his delivery was inconsistent tonight... reminds me of his time at Rangers.
  2. Poor run of form recently, much like Liverpool's form. After looking at twitter LFC fans seem to be questioning why he's still getting a game. Hope he turns it round, he was a breath of fresh air last year as far as Scottish players are concerned.
  3. Celtic lost the cup final, but won on Wednesday. Thats the difference!
  4. Haha Is her ex boyfriend not Dec from Ant and Dec??
  5. Gave the ref a chance to give the red, stupid by Lee But I would defo like to see Carey's elbow on Wallace when the ref waved play on and Wallace went down. Sky haven't showed it since.
  6. So they know he's the brother of Charlie Adam etc but can't get the correct picture. Pisa poor reporting using a picture of McGregor.
  7. I agree but don't think he'll be given the opportunity. Just seems like the coaching staff don't rate him enough or think he doesn't deserve any more chances.
  8. I went onto the companies house website with a guy at work who has access to the website and searched by company number and company name (Glasgow Rangers Limited) and nothing came up. (well 2 companies came up when searched by name but they are unrelated). Could be a fake link, why is there "wck2" before the web address for instance?!

  10. It wouldn't have made any difference to us qualifying as Marseille won their own match.
  11. Great start to the season. But I will properly assess how it stands once 22 games are out the way. But then we should have played everyone home and away. We are 10 points ahead of Celtic but I imagine that's really 7 as they'll surely beat Dunfermline at home. They also still have Hearts and us at home in the next quarter of the season whilst we have a tough visit to Tynecastle in 3 weeks and a tough visit to Pittodrie. Well done Ally in the league.
  12. I don't like comparing players and prices etc BUT: Naismith is defo better than McWeady, apparently has 4 years left on his contract and McWeady was sold for around 10m????
  13. We need to leave, a 16m wage bill will simply see half decent players move to the championship ahead of us... as is already happening. I would rather an Atlantic league than premiership. Too many big fish in that pond. In an Atlantic league the old firm could be big fish in a big well funded pond. The premiership gets 1.7bn for 3/4 years tv deals!!!!!!! We need to improve our tv deals to ensure we can continue to attract the Jelavic's. Away games would involve regular travel for players but surely playing against the best teams in Denmark, Sweden, Norway and hopefully Holland would result in a tremendous league. Tv contracts would become valuable. But would this involve summer football? Not sure I'm keen but again this might prove attractive to tv companies when the premiership isn't on.
  14. Is it because the west enclosure was closer to what was going on and could therefore find it easier to make their feelings known?
  15. Spot on, Wylde will become a whipping boy eventually. He is very average, pace is saving him at the moment but it won't last. I hate to see it but I do expect to hear fans getting on his back big time.
  16. Yeah Boli would refer to kids as waens wouldn't he!
  17. I'm not a lawyer but dereliction of duty seems a reasonable approach to take in terms of justifying terminating his contract. The fact Bain submitted papers claiming risk of insolvency might also work in Rangers favour on that basis!
  18. The thing that annoys me about the court papers is that Bain is suggesting there is a clear risk of insolvency but was happy to take a massive payrise at a time when insolvency was also a possibility. On that fact alone I think Rangers' lawyers should argue that it's misconduct in his role as chief executive, obviously along with the board who must have approved it. The court papers give example of small payments not being paid on time but it's clear the real risk of insolvency comes from the large tax case which Bain and the board knew about when they authorised the pay rises. Whyte was correct to get rid and hope he proves this in court.
  19. Sometimes yeah BUT when it comes to the basics attached to my job that I would be expected to do, I have no problem and don't let it affect my overall attitude.
