The Offside Rules in general need to be changed to give the benefit/advantage to the attacker.
For example if a players playing on the shoulder of the defender it should be a case that any part of the attackers body is in line with the defender then they are onside.
They should remove the rule about needing 2 players ahead of the ball, if the keeper comes out then that’s on them.
It would bring more goals and more excitement to football.
That would just encourage teams to sit deeper and deeper and take any enjoyment out of the game.

The suggestion from the VAR angle is that the Real player (Valverde?) touches it before a Liverpool player. If that's the case it's the right call.

Need to have two players between you and the goal to be onside. The goalkeeper often counts as the second player due to how deep they traditionally stand but on this occasion he'd stepped up, Van Dijk then was the 2nd defender.

Benzema is just brilliant to watch. Very very rarely does he ever have to adjust, he always positions himself and his body perfectly to receive the ball.
