    I said the same at the time, I think nowadays it’s one of those that if it’s given it doesn’t get overturned and if it isn’t given it also doesn’t. There’s nothing clear and obvious missed and there’s enough of an argument both ways to leave it fairly ambiguous.

    Appalled at all of this. Would hope to get some kind of well organised action organised by somone, assisted by political backing of some kind (foreign office, embassy or whatever) but clearly that's going to be too much to ask. Nobody will give enough of a fuck about fans, which is what ends up leading to Hillsboroughs.

    Important that someone takes it on. Sounds like fans are at serious risk under UEFA if this shite is what we're getting.

    It’s when you sit and read their absolute nonsense from last week about their “entire security team” being in Seville. Obviously on their fucking holidays because there was fuck all security when it came to the fans. 
     

    Seville itself is a wonderfully accommodating city, the people are very pleasant, but that whole thing was a shitshow from start to finish and, as much as I believe UEFA are responsible for a lot of what happened, our board needs to take the blame for how we as fans were treated. Get them all: Robertson, Graham, Johnstone, Bennett and Park to fuck.

    I never understood the criticism levelled at Greg before, but he, along with the entire board of directors need their balls booted.

    It was coming onto his right foot, you don’t let the ball go across your goal under any circumstances. How does Goldson scoring an OG make it worse than the Frankfurt player scoring? Same end result.

    I can only provide a bit of a viewpoint from la Cartuja and the fanzone outside but the whole thing was a bit of a joke. A cobbled together stage beneath an underpass, rocks, glass and dirt underfoot.

    Getting into the stadium was a bit of a joke, none of the stewards, security or police could tell us where we entered and we were walking back and forth for a while only to be told we needed to go back where we came from and eventually got in. Kiosks we’re either understaffed or amateurishly staffed and it took 20 minutes to get 3 bottles of water. 
     

    After the match some local wank decided to leave a gas canister on while an oven was cooking next to it, he decided to bolt when he noticed it might explode and caused a mass rush of people trying to get to safety. The guys honestly lucky he didn’t get his head kicked in for it, loads of us absolutely fuming, there were hundreds of us in the vicinity.

    As I understand it the conditions in Roman Sanchez Pizjuan were far worse, and alongside UEFA and Sevilla our club need to be held accountable for their lack of support provided to their own fans both on the night and in the lead up to the night itself.

    Thought Borna was a bit of a shitebag most of the match being ultra cautious and we weren't getting the ball to Kent anywhere near enough.

    There will be differing opinions but I think we played in spells, we never hit a consistent level and that may be down to Frankfurts tactics. We really struggled to get the ball down, although I know we had more possession throughout. 
     

    I agree when it went to extra time and we switched to a flat back three instead of an alternating back three we took much more of the ball and had more chances. There are so many fine margins which decided the game, but for me I thought we just looked flat for the majority.

    Sands coming on allowed us to play a flat back three with Lundstram in midfield. It was the right decision and we saw more of the ball and had more chances.

    There will be a lot of melodrama on here and amongst the fan base over the next few days, I’m sure of it. We’ve punched well above our weight this season and I’m proud of my team. Yes, a few decisions were contentious, but we didn’t deserve to win that today, some of the players showed their hands today and I trust Gio to be ruthless in the summer and weed out the rot.

     

    We’ve just been to a European final in seville and we should be proud of that.

    Just back from Plaza de Hercules, place was absolutely jumping, police and locals joining in. Left not long ago, what an atmosphere. We own Seville now, somecunt write a play.
