The problem is, its not just another internet site. Its a Rangers fans' forum run by a guy who believes he speaks for the fans. He doesn't. His forum has a few hundred regularly active posters, and his RST has around 2,000 members. We have home crowds of 50,000 so he's not in any position to claim he speaks for the fans.
His e mail stunt, and his forums "Go Home Yanks" banner ploy was nothing short of embarrassing, considering we had 3 "Yanks" playing for the Rangers that day, and on 25% wages!
We need a fans' leader, or leaders, who represent all Rangers fans. Not just the ones who follow follow like sheep and do as they're told.

Gunslinger. Why the smart arse replies to what, in my opinion, is a genuine query from a Rangers supporter, about Rangers supporters' money?
Remember, as has already been said, this group may be looking for a place on the Board, and therefore their history/background is important to all. Not just fans who have money in this account.
Did you have money in any of Craig Whyte's companies when you were asking questions of him? Or was that none of your business as well?
In short..................answer the fuckin question, or get somebody else oan here tae answer it.

Nope. I'm expecting everything to do with fans' money be above board. If any groups can't, or won't put suitably qualified people in place, then how can they expect people to donate?
Not to mention the illegalities of such schemes when not properly registered, or administered.

Whyte took us on when no-one else would. We would be in a FAR worse position had he not taken over.
No-one here knows f*ck all about what's been happening at the highest level within Rangers so why don't you just shut up and support your team! Ungrateful b*stards.

Ok, I do feel like I have to defend Whyte a bit here. For starters, this club is in better nick than it was before he took over. Secondly, he – contrary to popular belief – HASN’T asset-stripped the club. And, lastly, the transfer budget may have been larger, if McCoist (and remember, only HE can make decisions on the playing front) hadn’t deemed Whittaker to be one of his untouchables and encouraged Whyte to finance a five-year, £20K-a-week contract for him. Just saying.

I think some people can't get their heads around the fact he said he would make £5m available for player buys.
This is so much different from what he's been accused of saying. ie He WILL spend £5m on players.
Why spend say, £3m on a CB when ye can get a good one for £600k, as has been shown with Goian? Making £5m available does not mean we HAVE to spend £5m.
    Goian @ £600,000 OR Cuellar @ £2.5million?
Which deal is the best piece of business by the club? A young player who has shown he has what it takes to play CB for the Rangers, with a potentially high sell on value, or a player who's on his last legs, and riddled by injury, with no sell on value?

I'm happy enough with the new signings and hopefully there'll be more to come.
I will however, be extremely disappointed if Davie Weir is still our regular CB when the season kicks off.
As much as I really like him, and I appreciate everything he's done for the Rangers, I'm starting to find it rather embarrassing that our CB and Captain is a 41 year old.

If, and it's a big if, we lose the tax case, and get hit with a hefty fine, Craig Whyte will get 1st dibs on his money back.
There won't be much left after that for HMRC, something HMRC will be taking into consideration.
This is why he is confident there won't be any hefty fine imposed.
I've always been of the belief that he won't spend too much money this season anyway due to the settling-in period required when anyone takes on a business the size of Rangers FC, and to take time to plan for the future.
If we don't win the league this coming season, it won't be because of Craig Whyte. It will be due to the fact we have a new Manager. This is how it will be presented to the mhedia and the fans.
I think, and I hope I'm correct, that Craig Whyte will be good for Rangers FC, and he will need time to settle in and plan for the future, which I'm sure won't be any worse than the last 7/8 years under SDM. After, and only after, he has gotten the tax case put to bed will we see and hear more from Craig Whyte himself and hopefully it will be good news all round.
We complain when the mhedia speculate about our club with doomsday stories on an almost daily basis, then some come on here and write exactly the same doomsday pish that we complain about in the mhedia.
It's almost as if we don't trust a guy who has put millions into our club, taken the burden of a potentially hefty fine from HMRC, and has shown till now we don't actually have to sell off our best players.
Give it time, and if he fails to deliver, then is the time to worry and hopefully unite against him. Until he shows he has failed us, we shouldn't be so distrusting of the guy.
FFS We should be enjoying our 3rd consecutive SPL title, our League Cup win against the taigs, the fact we have a new owner who will hopefully take us forward (something that was never going to happen under Murray), a new Manager who's raring to get his teeth into the job, keeping the bulk of our successful squad together, adding a few new players, CL qualifiers followed by (hopefully) CL football, folowed by European football after Christmas...............................................and all we ever hear about on here is how distrusting we are of our new owner.
I don't know about anybody else, but I am sure as fuck enjoying my summer due to all of the above.
SPL fixture list is out the morra followed by the Euro Qualifiers draw, next month we have a wee trip tae Belfast, followed by Blackpool and then the visit of Chelsea. Not tae mention the league gets underway on 23rd July.
Why can't we just be more positive about our club and it's future and Follow Follow on?
