Nothing new there. King will make the offer, nobody will take him up on it, and that's it done.
The possibility of extra cash is merely another share issue to extract yet more cash from fans and that will likely fail in another embarrassing fiasco.
As for shirt sales, three times a tiddly amount is still a tiddly amount and this who leaves statement reeks of old news dressed up as something good happening.
I feel like a Tim shooting holes in this stuff but it is just a blatant attempt to boost renewals.
    We deserve better.

If we stand and do nothing, then nothing will happen.
History has shown things only get better when the fans have finally had enough and act.
It doesn't matter what this boards intention is, they are clearly not delivering and are completely incompetent.
I fear the diehards will need more years of convincing, but something must change sooner or later. The board lurches from one crisis to another, a lot of which are self inflicted.
I did think at the time that all Kings dirty tricks to get in would come to be used later to oust him and that looks inevitable now.
I've never seen the fans so disillusioned as they are now, which is very dangerous for the board.

I've never even considered it a good idea or advocated it until now, but I don't really care if there's a season ticket boycott anymore off the back of that statement. If that's how they really feel then we've nothing to lose anyway.
Never, ever, thought I'd say that - ever.

It’s diffucult not to conclude they are trying to deliberately alienate us.
How the fuck can you review the mood (our current mood) of your paying customer, when by the way you are asking them to pay again and hit out with that pish.
I can honestly imagine them having conversations where they congratulate themselves on being so much cleverer than the emotive supporters.

After the McInnes fiasco  I don't think they have the acumen or professionalism to organise a proper new manager.
They were terribly advised before and have now alienated candidates from the job to the point I would wonder if a manager was any good if he signed for us.
They are so out of touch its unreal. I think we are in for a lit more pain and embarrassment over the next manager, and with their previous they will take what they can get and bullshit us its a great appointment.
Changes are needed at this board. Get someone in who understands discretion and decorum.

For the most part true, but we don't know if there are anyone waiting in the wings. For the right price, I'm pretty sure there would be a few and if they are real Rangers men, they take the hit on it and step aside.
The current financial model doesn't work and it looks like they don't want to risk any more of their own money by taking on that Close loan, but they now face a dilema, if ST sales drop significantly and they are not prepared to fund an increasing gap, we go to the wall and they stand to lose a significant portion of their investment, so it's coming to stick or twist time. Do they take a leap of faith and take the risk of significant investment to win that title and start to get repaid, or stay locked in on a cycle of ever decreasing circles to oblivion, because the current model takes us exactly there. It's the dilema they face right here, right now. The next month or so will tell the tale.

I want a proper football man/manager to get us back resembling a football team again, someone with a history not a stab in the dark novice/banker/waiter/youth coach with fingers crossed just hoping he can maybe do the business whilst having no track record at all.

If we boycott then they reach 9 it's that simple and I want no part of that.

    So it begins.
This marks the opening shot that brings down this useless board and brings about change to our great club.
The other groups will now need to pick a side and will likely protest sooner or later to avoid getting out of touch with fans.

A great statement reflecting fans frustrations at the the lack of communication, action and competence shown by this board.
They lied, cheated and promised the earth to get in and are just as bad as any predecessors.
Protests will snowball. The only thing that will draw real attention is a threat to the income. That's not nice but it's how King got in. Even the threat of a sizable part of the support not renewing will force action. Even if it is a bluff it will make them uncertain until the last moment. Otherwise they just assume the mugs will pay regardless.
Previous battles have shown we act eventually and change happens. Let's not wait too long.
Short term pain for long term gain.

here we fucking go again man, what an utter clusterfuck
i never trusted or backed King, but i honestly thought it would take them winning 10 in a row before some opened their eyes to our boards pish, im glad it hasnt taken that long for some of our fans to wake up.
If its to be boycotts and protests again then we should just get on with it, with as many fans behind it as possible, and hopefully to without the SOS being involved because i wouldn't want to stand next to those arseholes
won't be long till some groups start coming out saying they never liked King that much anyway.
But fuck it, hopefully some of the other groups follow VBs and UBs in this and let them lead the protests since for the past few years the VBs and for the past few months the UBs have been the only groups with enough balls to stand up for the Club and its most valuable asset - its fans.
Lets just get these rats out asap, fan ownership is the only way forward imo and i was never a backer of fan ownership but the fans are the only people left who can be trusted

With this and the political storm over the coop and labour party deals, now us the time for the Rangers support to mobilise and do anything in our power to ensure every wee detail and dodgy practice is highlighted so the powers that be have no scope to sweep this under the carpet or give them an easy out.
They did it to us, so we should not hesitate to kick them when the opportunity presents.
    That would be karma.

No point blaming the board over this. With the club being starved of funds and fans being driven away by Allys pishy football they just don't have the cash.
Ally knew this and obviously and undeniably did it to cause more financial turmoil, no doubt after a chat with his wee mate Dave.
All respect for Ally has now gone. It took a big knock when he lied and led us on about his vote last year, but this kills it dead.
His salary coverup, his refusal to cut it until he was forced to, and now this, is the final straw. He knew he was failing badly and took the most damaging way possible out the door.
I am very close to hating the wee cheeky chappy prick now. He has taken millions in cash and shares with the best of the spivs and done nothing for it but ruin our chances of promotion.
If a deal ain't sorted quick, he will be joining the ranks of Whyte, Green, Ahmad and the other spivs who were jut here for the money. At least Green and Ahmad never claimed they were here for love of the club.
I'm away to burn my copy of A shot at glory.

There are a lot of bears looking out their pitchforks and torches.
I suggest calming down until we get some clarity on it.
A lot of the shit flying about is conjecture and contradictory so its impossible to sort out the shit from the substance. The tims and the anti-Rangers media will be looking to spin anything they can out of it during the confusion as a wind up.
    Lets see what happens.
