After Warburton the board had to get the next manager appointment 100% correct. This has obviously not been the case when you consider the whole sale changes he has to make during every game. Not one of the squad has shown even a hint of improvement and some have actually got worse. Any decent board would recognise this and act rather than hope that our two week close season will see a massive turn around.

Even during our years of 9 IAR I don't remember a season where we dominated every old firm game. This why you can never compare this period of dominance by Celtic to days gone by. Even in Celtics lowest days they still had a team with international players, they have never had to deal with the dross we have just now.

Not surprised at all that this is leaked from the dressing room. There is mental weakness in the squad, so the thought of having a short break will frighten them as it means work. The fact they are coming back early to take part in European football will be lost on most of them as they have never been involved in European competition or realise the commitment it takes to succeed at the highest level. Strange that their are no complaints coming out of Aberdeen or St Johnstone who are on the exact same schedule.

Average age of 25, you would be forgiven for thinking you would have a squad who could grow and develop together for many years. Pity most of them just won't cut it.

I think Dave King will be thinking the same, I honestly believe his only motivation to join the three bears and get a controlling stake was to oust the then board who clearly did not have the best interests of the club at heart. His plan would always of been to stabilise the club which to be fair to them they have and then hope for someone to make him an offer. I think we have had so much mud thrown at us over the last five years that some of it has stuck and until all the court litigation that seems to follow us has all gone and we are a proper club selling merchandise to the benefit of the club and the big tax case cloud has gone we will be seen as a risk.

I don't get this belief that some how a massive turn over of players is going to happen during the close season. I honestly think we will replace like for like and that would be Hill & Senderos out and replaced with loan players for next season as we have to many players sitting on 1 year plus remaining on contracts and apparently we still have a sizeable sum of the Garner signing to pay. I hope I am wrong and a couple of League 1 / Championship clubs sniff around as I don't think Rangers will be to difficult to deal with in order to get shot of some of them.

The most important signing is the manager and on the basis of what's been seen so far, it looks like a disaster, I truly hope I am wrong on this one and whatever the so called three man interview panel saw in PC and decided to pay compensation to get him here starts to show soon. Not one player has improved and going by their interview answers they sound totally confused about what's going on. We now hear that he doesn't talk to them after the games and prefers to wait until the next training day. Imagine you've had a howler of a game and then have to stew on it for 24hours to hear what the manager thinks.

To be a Rangers player you must have a strong mentality, the fact that our coaching staff have asked the manager to alter his approach for the pre match speech just confirms that our players are neither good enough or strong enough mentally to ever have a successful career at a top club. Go back to Bradford, Wigan, or whatever league 1 club you came from. Just know that where you are right now is the biggest stage you will ever be lucky enough to grace for the remainder of your career. That applies to players and manager alike. I know the team have been dross all season, but we should be seeing more from these players. You don't have to be a world beater to be organised, committed and ready to battle for every ball. Every time they got the ball in the first half they had about 10 yards to run into, lets face it for the first 30 mins against Partick it was very similar. For me the signs are worrying, at the moment the way the contracts are for certain players its very possible that what we are seeing now will still be there next season. If gets to spend 3 to 4 million (net) I'll be amazed.

Our midfield at times, not just today but in other games has been almost non - existent. Miller has to constantly drop back to make up the numbers, I do think we are better with Toral and Holt in front of the back four. Today our midfield failed to track a runner from deep and the first goal was very similar to the one we conceded at Dundee. If memory serves right I think it was Halliday who jogged behind the attacker that day.

Allowed them the freedom of the park for the first half a bit better in the second but its to late by then.

He only played six games for Granada prior to joining in January. Only natural that it will take time and games to find fitness and form. Thought today was his best performance yet.

Can't blame Pedro you can only blame the board that appointed him. If ever they had to get the right man it is now. They choose to appoint a complete unknown when there were plenty candidates with a bit more knowledge of our game on their doorstep. My thoughts tonight is there are a few players who don't even seek capable of putting a real blood and thunder performance they just look weak ponderous and slow.

Seven more games to go, eight if you include the semi,nine if you include the final.....who am I kidding. Eight games to go and then please something positivity going into next season.
