Spectre got a reaction from Billythebear77 in Emmanuel Eboue arrested for Arson
Come on man, the subject of the story is their former player who spent years there, made his name there and when people hear his name that club is the first thing they think of. That's their connection, and that's what makes it reasonable to use the image in an Arsenal shirt. Once again though, he has no connection to Rangers other than playing against us in a friendly once which doesn't justify bringing us in to it by using an image of him in our shirt.
I have genuinely been thinking the same since yesterday. I mean I realise they are an employer of sorts (not sure if he's freelance) and they probably know he posts on here under that name so maybe feels he needs to be seen to defend them but seriously, blink twice if you need help..

Spectre got a reaction from WATP-FOREVER in Emmanuel Eboue arrested for Arson
The answer to both questions is the same, Rangers haters trying to connect Rangers to a negative story. As I said earlier I honestly don't understand why you think using the same images on the previous story excuses it or is some sort of evidence that there is no malice. I'd see the point if the earlier story was about Eboue's charity work or something positive but no, it was another negative story, into which someone at the record chose to insert an image of our shirt despite us having no connection to the story.

We were shite, and not up to the standard expected for us, no denying that but the whole point of a league is about how good you are relative to other teams in the league. Is there enough in that 8 minute video that, had referees not been shite/biased (take your pick) that we would have won the league, I'm not convinced there is, but we were 3 points behind Aberdeen and I certainly think there's enough evidence in that video of us being cheated/shite refereed (take your pick) out of 3 points at least over the course of the season.

Spectre reacted to Bydo in Wallace And Miller Fined.
Know what, fuck it.
I’ve been sitting on this for a couple of weeks now and it may well be shite, but I trust the source and I’m gonna put it out there anyway cos it’s ridiculous.
In that dressing room, Miller and Wallace were raging that Murty wouldn’t discuss the shambles of a performance- to the extent that Wallace picked up a box of Powerade and launched it at Murty.

Spectre reacted to K.A.I in Underwhelming signings that made an impact and vice-versa
Just with all the transfer talk going on at the moment - can anyone remember any signings we made where you thought ffs and they turned out really good? and likewise any ones you were wrong about by thinking they'd be good and bombed big time?
For me I remember being in Spain when Advocaat and rolled in and the promises of big money were made and we signed Rod Wallace. I remember it well, was sat at the pool table in the resort with a bottle of cheap supermarket Sangria (being about 15) when I heard the news and thinking wtf he's mince. He was a cracking signing.
Likewise David Weir. He never impressed me once for Scotland, Hearts, Everton .. in fact I thought he was an utter donkey but he was one of the best defenders I've seen in the flesh at us. His reading of the game was superb by the time he reached us. Defo peaked later in life.
Naismith is another, thought he was decent enough but just not Rangers-class. Thought he was good in a Kilmarnock side but had no idea he could step up the way he did before doing the dirty.
Lesser extent Novo too in the sense that he was a limited player, but for the small amount of money we paid Dundee and the massive impact he had in some massive games. Had no idea he would contribute what he did for us.
Some mentions for the likes of Stevie Thompson, Fraser Wishart, Andy Dibble, Billy Dodds who were meh signings for me but done varying decent jobs in stages.
Conversely and recently thought Barton and Krancjer would be excellent signings ... Basil Boli and Duncan Ferguson probably the two biggest let-downs from memory though ... a world class, Champions League winning central defender and we either play him right-back or with Davie McPherson/Steven Pressley a couple times and he lost interest pretty quickly ... big Duncan I'm sure he must have been a longer term replacement for Hateley but he found himself out on the flanks if I'm not mistaken and just thinking what a waste.

Spectre got a reaction from Bydo in Only 3 points better off than last year
No point in comparing seasons like that, it's apples and oranges, every team has changed players. More interested in how close we are to the top, this season we're 12 points off the top rather than 39.
