If Whyte is loaning him money for the 25% share then it doesn't matter if Ellis can afford it. If he can't pay Whyte back for the shares then Whyte will just be able to take them back. If Ellis is getting shares at the point of takeover then they will probably be pledged to Whyte in security.

This is why the subway train I was on 'broke down' then! On the topic of trouble, things were getting a bit unsavoury in CD4 when the pocket of ManUre fans got going. Why aren't these guys lumped in with the other away fans? I really don't understand it. It's not like they're ManUre fans who couldn't get a ticket in the away end and decided to sit in with home fans. They are specifically given a section in the middle of the home end by Rangers. Heard a few of the police mouthing off about how ridiculous it was as well.
