Wingers as ‘10s’, CF drops deep so the 10s get in the box, midfield spends more time covering fullbacks than anything else and fullbacks doing a ridiculous level of work as your wingers.
Footballs a simple game, they overcomplicated with all that pish.
The Dutch have always known how simple it is.

Not long in since the Subway was fucked after the game, even that couldn't dampen the spirits chuffed with that performance tonight hopefully kicks us off on a run.

Would say thats probably our best performance of the Season tbh, still room for improvement but very encouraging signs to say the least, pressing was good for most of the game think a couple of the players started to tire a little, a lot quicker moving the ball as well which at times was good to watch.
On to Sunday now and a totally different challenge ahead.

I think he's getting abuse for being honest posters and punters cry out for it and when they hear it they react like daft wee kids.
Everyone who watched the full interview could see the point he was making.
I watched the full interview and it actually calmed me at first, the more I think about the giving up quote the more angry I got but, players have probably thought it before of course they have but to come out and admit it publicly is absolute madness.

Its not what he implied, its how he put it, telling a fanbase thats just watched their team lose out on another cup, that the second half they watched in hope was utterly pointless, as the players had chucked it at HT, is nothing short of disgraceful, the fans travelling from all over to watch players chuck it at HT
Shambles
My mates left after the 3rd goal went in, I stupidly decided to stay and put myself through more torture then that cunt comes away with that.
Its a total slap in the face to all the supporters.

People do realise that the side to side passing is us trying to drag teams playing in a low block across the pitch and out of shape so we can create openings yeah? We don’t just do it for the sake of doing it.
If we actually took advantage of the spaces created, too often now we pass it side to side at a snail's pace meaning the opposition just shuffle across until we get Goldson to launch a diagonal, rinse & repeat.

Straight talking until they all take the huff and implode. Probably won’t happen when it’s Gio in isolation but there barely seems to be a tournament that goes by where the Dutch team don’t seem to have some sort of personality driven blow up among the squad.
Actually think they need the drama in all honesty, they all seemed happy at the Euros then got dumped out by the Czechs 😂

Goldson comments were stupid but did he really do anything wrong yesterday on the park performance wise?
Part of a defence that conceded a first half hat trick to Martin Boyle, he is part of the problem, chucked it after the 2nd goal by his own admission as well.
I was calm after watching the full interview but thinking about it more and I can feel the rage building, it won't happen but I would rip up his contract forget the fee.

I was shocked GVB didn't go down at ht to try and sort shit
He would have got on at HT if he brought his boots.

The team he assembled had won fuck all but then in a season where 10 in a row was on the cards, our team of shitebags delivered in emphatic style.
If anything the pressure was off and whatever has went wrong it’s not because they or the manager shat themselves.
And there in lies the problem, happy to reach everest last season but couldn't even get up the campsies this season., today has been on the cards since the start of the season, shitebag manager or not.

Now had time to digest this a bit more feel sorry for the coaching team, threw in at the deep end a semi final at Hampden, I’ve absolutely no doubt these guys gave everything in the days leading up, but they were way out there depth. Whoever sanctioned them taking the team should be up in front of the chairman in the morning hopefully it wasn’t Wilson, not a good sign of his judgement.
In hindsight it was a bad decision but I think most were in agreement that GVB shouldn't be involved.
Can you imagine if GVB was actually manager today and that happened? He would be getting hounded out already.

I wouldn’t blame just Goldson tbh I thought he was spot on in that interview other than the 3-1 down patter we are 4 points clear at the top still in a cup & Europe to play for on paper things seem rosey but I’m feeling really concerned at the minute we are toothless all over the park and I can’t see anything changing going forward it’s clear the team needs some freshening up but will Gio be backed in January ? I very much doubt it we’ve really missed Helander as well imo hopefully he’s back sooner rather than later
He was actually spot on about what he said and stuff needs called out, but he can't call people out when he is part of a defence that conceded a 1st half hat trick to martin boyle.

Believe you me I get the frustration, but for all that’s wrong with us, accusing Gerrard of leaving because he’s a shite bag is utter nonsense.
Well, he is.
You might think its utter nonsense but it isn't, this is the team he assembled, this is the team he gave false pretence too.
Told the internationals to only be focused on Rangers then fucks off 4 days into said international break, there is no excuses for todays performance but its hardly a surprise that some of them couldn't give 2 fucks when the man that brought them here bolted at the first opportunity.

I think we will see something like.
McGregor
Tav Goldson Balogun Bassey
Aribo Lundstram/Jack Kamara
Sakala Morelos Kent
Think Gio will look for pace out wide and something different in the middle.
Depressing looking at that lineup, genuinely depressing.
Wouldn't blame GVB if he went back to Holland tomorrow after watching that today.

Gerrard left Rangers after winning a historic title with so much at stake, top of the league, in with a shout of progressing through the group stages of the Europa league yet again and a cup semi final that we were favourites to win.
Absolute nonsense to say he left a team of shitebags because he was shitebag.Aye because leaving a team before said cup semi final helps, Again a team of absolute shitebags built by a shitebag.

Gerrard told the world's media last week that he completed his remit. These are his players no wonder they think that way after hearing Gerrard say that himself.
Gio and his team along with Ross Wilson need to go into the training ground tomorrow a lay down the law to this group. Gio will be out a job if this shit isn't dealt with immediately.
I'll always be grateful for 55 but its done and at big clubs the mentality should always be what's next.
Unless gio walks he won't be out a job, he could lose the next 5 and I wouldn't blame him, this is Gerrards legacy no wonder he bolted at the first opportunity, a team of shitebags built by a shitebag.

There are problems nobody can deny that .The plus side we have right now is a change of manager with a clean slate for the whole squad .And we have plenty options too .With sneaky Gee we had Tav and Goldson undroppable and a few others were getting too many chances while not on form .
Read so many comments saying we need huge rebuild ,this lot need punted etc etc .But as well as not agreeing with that it’s simply impractical and unachievable anyway .There’s enough with what we have to still get a decent side on that park so long as there are a few changes in who is “guaranteed “ game time ,
Morelos ,Morelos Barasic and McGregor need to work their way back in .I would add Goldson to this too but unfortunately centre half is the only area we don’t have many options until Helander gets back .
Sneaky gee 😂😂 grow up.

Eventually made my way home from hampden, nobody but the players that started take the blame today, you could have had Guardiola on the touchline and it wouldn't have made one bit of difference.
Shytbags to a man every single one of them!

Valeron, Riquelme, Zidane and Xavi. Probably my 4 favourite midfielders ever.
Riquelme is up there with best I have seen at Ibrox if not the best, absolutely tore us apart with Villareal at Ibrox how we managed to get away with a draw that game I will never know.

League cup winners only get 300k. So the financial reward is very low.
What matters is winning it and preventing scum from getting any momentum.
Any domestic trophy is low financial rewards, Europe is the only way we can make money and keep a certain standard of squad.

From what I was told the board weren't too happy with him during the season before he left so wouldn't be shocked if they played hardball, of course any decent money comes in the player in question will go but for Gerrard and Villa I would be putting an extra 10 million on the asking price.
I do doubt he comes in for anyone except maybe Aribo.
