Seen better Rangers teams (and managers) get hammered in Champions League. This 'aint Europa and we are not very good. We may have expected to battle and maybe get some credibility, but we will probably get nothing except the ride and the cash. We overachieved getting here, but we are gonna be spectators in these games I fear. Scum have had these pumpings last few years and they have spent bigger than us.

If you want to play defensive, you need many things. A top top keeper, utterly reliable centre backs and top fullbacks to defend. We haven’t ticked those boxes since Walter. We get room to play in Europe. Teams there probably respect us Here no one respects you and you get found out when your defence is not good enough. Sieve like defences are what let’s these domestic teams get results against us. We will be open to Sheep again up there .You don’t know what you are gonna get with our team any week. Gio may not have it for us but nothing will happen if we are second and still in Europe. I think the board will plod along with him. Would love to be wrong and see a big and fresh appointment. Don’t want a meltdown in order to be rid of Gio either though

I think if we had won the game with 9 men, we would have said it was a great result to hang on. We were unlucky to lose the goal so late. Just deflating the way the whole thing panned out and hard to get over it.

Ref: "Oh there's a hand out there, where's my yellow? Ya beauty, it's that wee Alfie, fuck the yellow" So Alfie made a cunt and the ref did too. Different standards for Alfie from a ref with no standards anyway.

He plays for himself and thinks only of himself. He is only happy when the goal is his.

Johnstone was one of the best finishers to have played for us..........he really was that good. Conn bothered me but that was my problem. Most players don't get the chance to play for both sides ,so they are somewhat unique I suppose.

Amazing Goalie , a great guy and a fantastic Ranger. It is such a loss.

Tav has been through it all with us. I mean given all his attacking attributes and assists, if he were also a great defender, he would be worth more than we could ever afford. I am gonna remember him going through that little group meeting with ref and deciding the penalty order of the extra time with Frankfurt. Picking the ball up and going over to take first penalty for all of us. Man, he came out shining for me there!

We have put ourselves back on the map in many ways. High profile cup final and stopped the rot with SC Win knocking out scum on the way. No cigar but half decent season with all that went on.

Big strong guy who plays a great long ball out of defence. He has been a good servant and has been through thick and thin with the club. His decision and I reckon Gio would be happy if he stays.

But did Goldson let it go, believing Bassey was getting there first? . Or ,was it flashed across him and he then looked in hope that Bassey was going to get there ? Let,s face it they fucked up in defence for our goal badly although Big Joe finished it well. Goals come from all these things at any level.

Up with the best Scottish Rangers midfielder I seen along with Bobby Russell. Dave could play midfield or sweeper. A reader of the game with a football brain few could match.

It is a man who has us playing total football with goals from the team, rather than an individual striker. He said we can cover for Alfie and was right.

If we had scored the first 'well goal, I would have said it was a good goal. It is a textbook goal that we have seen over and over many times. The cross and timing of the run into box by those two were perfect. Advantage always with the striker in that position ,as he is running towards goal and can get a ball inside right or inside left of the defender. Keeper can usually do nowt, as he must cover his near post. Second goal was poor to lose and keeper should save it, but it was not hit that well and as we know, those type of shots can sometimes sneak by a goalie who is maybe expecting a well struck ball. Shagger was not set up right and was surprised at the way goldson and tav got lost I think. Ends up as a keeper mistake of course. Total shite for us mind.

Whatever Gio and his coaching staff have learned and developed in football, is what we are gonna get. We are getting Gio and eventually, his players and way of playing. It may take time to develop, if he gets the time. None knows really and this is the risk. 6 goals in 2 games shipped now.
