I've got to be honest, I'm glad this sort of information is being put into the public forum. If I was doing business with a man who went quite a long way out of his way to create a pseudonym to peddle gratuitous abuse of a section of people who may well make up a part of his client base, I think I'd be entitled to know about it and subsequently reassess my position in doing business with that man. I don't see how that is a particularly controversial topic to some. I don't shop in any outlet owned by Mike Ashley because I don't believe a man with his ethics should receive my business. I'd happily extend that line of thought to any other businesses who actively work against, disparage or decry causes that are close to my heart. As a consumer, that is my right and the more information that allows me to make that informed choice, such as that published in the blog in the first post, should only be welcomed.

This is exactly my experience. I left from B4 as the police horses entered the pitch and the halfway line cordon was established. I consoled my nephew and we went outside to meet a couple of minutes at the big sign before heading back to our bus. By the time we'd left, waited and walked up to the road, there were still no vans on the scene. Traffic was bad because of the volume of fans leaving and traffic not flowing (as has been the case for any big game at Hampden since the dawn of time). It wasn't until we were halfway along the road to the bus that any police vans appeared. There was some anger (righteous in my opinion) vented that the police were not on location at the stadium and the abuse was predominantly verbal but at absolutely no point was there any impediment to these vans from a Rangers fans standpoint and certainly not with any children. It's a claim that is disingenuous at best and criminally libellous at worst. An utter disgrace that this has went to print and all the worse for the good work fellow bears have put into uncovering the reporter as a rabid tarrier cow. This must be addressed and fucking strongly because this is a case of painting us out as the root cause of all evil again.

The very same MSP I voted for, whose motion at the Parliament on Tuesday was to congratulate Hibs and recognise their hard work and commitment to winning a trophy for the first time in over a century. Fuck all about the disgusting behaviour of fans, no recognition of assaults and no acknowledgement of any disorder of any kind. What an absolute professional Mark Warburton is. Would have been extremely easy to have given the officials and the Livi players both barrels, especially after that tackle in the 8th second that could have done Oduwa a serious mischief. At 56 seconds, he stifles the word "horrendous" when describing the tackles but that's exactly what they were. Disgusting assaults with no intent on anything other than playing the man. It's why Scottish football will never evolve beyond pondlife in the grander scheme of things, too many neanderthals with shite attitudes to coaching and football. Was a real shame Oduwa went off as I though he was putting in a great shift, tracking back well to recover possession and some dangerous play with real end product.

I'm not about to grant your wish to avoid the overall point by picking holes in word choice. I stick to the fact that you need to lighten the fuck up and enjoy where we are right now rather than gleefully admitting you're looking for negatives. It genuinely bewilders me how quickly some of our "fans" on here go grasping for a negative. We've won ten league games on the bounce, playing an attractive style of football with a squad populated by hungry young players with talent, desire and a point to prove. Take a fucking day off and enjoy the moment, eh? We've been served dirge with a side order of hopelessness on the pitch under previous management and following the team was almost a chore at times. Now the fans (with a few choice exceptions from this thread) are bristling with excitement and optimism, looking forward to just how far this team can go and what they can achieve. Why the fuck would you not want to enjoy every second of that, given how much of an arse kicking we've taken as a club and a support in the past few years, to complain about the appointment of a backroom staffer? Honestly think some in here need to book a wee appointment with a specialist. In the meantime, I'll welcome the new appointment, satisfied in the knowledge that Messrs Warburton and Weir have barely put a foot wrong since taking the reigns a few months ago, and look forward to another great performance tomorrow by the famous Glasgow Rangers. I hope some posting in this thread manage to control their outrage at this appointment and get along to the game as well.
