Its now a completely no win situation. The more people who cancel memberships the less people the remaining Directors are answerable to and consequently the more grip/ control they gain. There is something Dark and a rotten at the very heart of the Club these days. That's The assets of RF well and truly seized. Sad days considering the noble intentions when RF was first set up.

Thanks for your reply. I was thinking there may be a clause in the contract that they could leave Club1872. RF was very successful as a stand alone group. I can't help but think joining Club1872 has damaged that success and allowed them to be manipulated. I also think the vote to merge was rushed.

I defy anyone, to read this thread from start to finish, with an open mind, and not come to the conclusion that the Rangers support has been stitched up and robbed blind by these shower of imposters running our club.
From the boardroom lies and broken promises to the manipulation and sleekit, sneaky  way they have grabbed control of the RFFF and RF money.
Its a fuckin tragedy the way so many have been fooled into backing the same old gravy train fare dodgers yet again, and even worse that so many continue to do so.
I said at the time, as a Rangers Supporter, I have never felt as low as I did the day filth like Craig Houston first took a seat in our directors box. That wanker should have been chased the minute he first embarassed us with his fuckin big screen outside Ibrox.

I agree it certainly is not an easy decision- but you might want to look up the responsibilities that Trustees sign up to when they accept a post. Along with those responsibilities are potential personal liabilities should you fail to deliver good governance. They have resigned therefore they are no longer Trustees and as such cannot withdraw their resignations. As to their ability to put forward a vote of no confidence that would depend on whether or not there was any such facility within the articles of association for a vote of no confidence.

If you are in a minority you cannot effect change. Therefore if you consider the matter to be serious enough you have only one real choice- resign. That should be a sufficient warning to the membership that something is seriously wrong. For three trustees to resign would suggest that there is something seriously wrong with the governance in place. I am sure it was not an easy decision- but integrity can have a price.

Not much different to those who pumped money into TRFFF and who had no say in how the money was spent and was given no details of income/expenditure, just another clusterfuck started by good meaning people and hijacked by charlatans among our own support.
My mother taught me to be cautious so I was waiting before I donated to RF, once the merger was touted I knew it was not for me and said so publicly, shame good supporters got taken for a ride.

You know what.  Gonna give some credit to Chris Graham.  When it was clear there were issues about being appointed to the board, he removed himself.
When it was clear he would have divided fans if he went on 1872 board, which he would have been voted on, he removed himself.
Houstons self interest won't allow him to remove himself.
Even CG is inadvertingly calling this out.

"We are conscious that they were elected by you, our members and that you would want us to deal with them professionally and with respect"
I find that last line very sinister. Surely there should be no question of any dealings being anything but professional and respectful.

From the moment Rangers First was seized, I have struggled to in anyway recognise Club 1872 as an independent supporters group. They appear to be simply a more polished and sophisticated version of SOS.  Like many others I am sorry to hear D'Art has resigned- but at the same time not at all surprised. But D'Art is to be thanked for his endeavours.

Sadly I am far from shocked- there are persons who have clearly put their own interests above those of the Club and it's Support.

There was - it was called RF but then it was hi-jacked even after we were promised (led to believe?) it wouldn't be.
