True inspiration the way he battled against his disease whilst still raising money to fund research into it.
Great player but even better off the field the way he lived his life.
All the best to his family.
All the players on the B list are free and we can have 25 other players of which 4 have to be club trained and 4 association trained.
We have 22 players on the A list as only McGregor qualifies as club trained which means we are 3 players short.
Given that Kent was signed someone had to make way for him which is why Jones might have made more sense as both him and Flanagan are injured but perhaps the latter will be back sooner
No idea why Rudden is still there though as pointed out....maybe they just dont check that list that much.
They have been fined at least 10 times for the likes of Palestinian flags, songs supporting terrorists, banners mocking UEFA, banners supporting terrorists, fireworks, guy aiming a kick at PSG player
Never one to support the board but we don’t know what the initial report mentioned and if it included potential sanctions. Also who was made aware of it on the board? We where fined last year I am sure for bog roll on the pitch so it’s potentially they thought another fine was forthcoming.
Maybe it was a case they where just advised that fans singing was included in the match report and they thought nothing more. You would really need to know who was advised within the club.
Google most teams and you will see them linked with lots of players and made up stories with no actual links. Sporting lisbon had to deny reports that they have agreed a deal to sell Fernandes to Man Utd......there is also about a dozen other stories linking various players some of them involving permutations with other clubs.
Team in question already has the maximum allowed foreign players two of whom are proven strikers in the league. Think someone has been winding Sky up again.
That is an upgrade no doubt
Its not pessimism its just that previous seasons have shown that whilst players can initially look good over a season a lot of them struggle to maintain the same level of consistency.
Also how the likes of Ojo for instance reacts to criticism should be draw a league game which we are expected to win
Edmundson might come good but he is from league 2 whilst Worrall for his occassional lapses has played at a higher level
Helender should be a no brainer as McAuley played 11 times and was always just backup
Dodoo is still here and a striker (i know)
Aribo too early to say as he needs to carry his perfomances to the cups and midweek games in the winter
Kamara keeps the same trajectory then yes
Ojo is in the same boat as loanees before - they need to perform at a decent level for most of the season
It could not be worse than Lafferty
Don't know about the last one
Squad appears marginally stronger overall. It will benefit from being the 2nd year together for a lot of them.
Probably because its a well they have went to before and got good return for. We are clearly happy that some of the wages are picked up especially for players that have not long term future.
