shotstopper reacted to Jamie0202 in Current injury list
The last bit of that to me stands out. When asked if he knows why we have so many injuries he says yes but not for the press to hear why. Sounds like it isn't just bad luck which many of us could guess. Personally I don't give a fuck about knowing the full reason, as long as Clement knows and can fix it. The proof will be seen throughout the rest of the season when we will see if the situation improves.
That's also a far better answer to the press than waffling some amount of shite while skirting round the real reasons.

We almost lose a player a week. Apparent small issues become months out and when they do come back they tend to get injured straight away again.

Thank fuck. Finally with the gumption to acknowledge the injury record and call it out.

Clement is obviously bewildered on the medical side. His "next question" response today spoke volumes

Clement gave a little smirk when he announced Soutter was out with a ‘little’ problem.
I get the impression he’s not overly impressed with the attitude of some to the injuries.
Look at Helander - completely done with us but back playing international football as soon as he leaves.
Something is far wrong with the medical side of things

Listened to the press conference there, man, do we have a manager at long last. Does not take fools (press} gladly.
Answering stupid questions with "next question please" and "that's in-house and stays in-house" certainly puts them in their place.
I think he's the manager for me. Long may it continue.

It was a cracking watch. I was actually surprised how level headed and dare I say normal him and his family are given his celebrity and fame. No doubt one of the greats and you can see how much he still loves the game which isn't always the case when retirement comes calling. Proper football man

He's really raging about their condition, is it the players or was it beale

Seems that Beale is also not the great training ground coach people thought he was ether, the fitness and conditioning of the squad is minging, think we all done Gerrard a disservice giving that wee wanker Beale any credit for 55

The manager silently damning the condition of the players under the previous regime without saying as such. Beale was such a bad fit for us in every way.

Very much sounds like he doesn't think players are in a good enough physical condition, which is causing all the injuries.

Listening to Clement, it feels like we have the first proper manager since Walter Smith.

Owning that press conference, great to see

Watched his press conference today and I’m getting more and more confident that he’ll be a success here with us. Not sure why but just have a feeling he’s what we’ve been looking for. Total opposite feeling that I had to Beale.

If that's a foul then just shut down the sport. What a mental decision.

I don’t mind if people think it’s funny as they want Scotland to lose.
But anyone who thinks that’s the right call doesn’t have a clue about football.

Honestly think this is a massive part of what's wrong with us.
They do not deserve slack for that win today, after Thursday, after Aberdeen and after the whole season.
It was fucking eye bleeding to watch between the red card and the 2nd goal.
They deserve slack when they've clawed back the lead they've awarded the tarriers, yet again.

Another chronic performance despite the scoreline .
Far too slow in build ups out from the back usual predictable slow passing out from Goldson,Tavernier & Lundstram .
if they can't break that monotony then every team will continually sit in and comfortably slot back into a defensive role it's the root problem imo in why there is a lack of urgency allied with poor positional play from spare men .
Further compounded today out wide as both Tavernier and Barasic were pathetic in one on ones neither got down the wing by getting beyond their marker and when there was an option for a one two it's the usual turn back inside and play another shit pass across a packed midfield or back to defence.
Same error prone performances despite what the captain said post match .
i've yet to see an improvement in all the areas this team are failing on that's priority number one for a new manager and demand they start demonstrating an ability to show basic abilities in controlling and passing a ball.
That today was again abysmal despite the rainfall the ball was holding up reasonably well our players as usual make it look hard work in taking and playing of a simple flowing pass wanting two and three touches looking about as steady as a drunk man coming out the pub.

Couldn't post last night - so sick, disillusioned and angry at that pitiful performance. Even post match interview was like seeing a rabbit in headlights from Davis, just full of the usual drivel from a defeated manager, must do better/ we'll learn from our mistakes/ boys gave their all/ etc.etc. ya-de-fuckin da. Agree with all the comments being posted on here and thought I would feel better in the morning but no, I don't feel any better and did not sleep very well either. I think I may as well go and hibernate till the start of next season but I know, come Sunday I'll be back hoping for some remote transformation that we might perform as a football team.
WATP.

Wouldn't be the worst thing if it's postponed
