I understand it, my point was though - us reaching that final presents operational and logistical problems that they may not be able to handle by itself.
Nevermind factoring in Liverpool, West Ham or anyone else.
While Liverpool have more fans on this Island, that doesn't = supporters that they take to games or travel.
I still think us attending any UK final, or Ireland/Northern Ireland we have the potential to dwarf anybody.
For example if we played Manchester United in London, I feel we'd take more.
R.e Dublin, we've been singing about doing it for years 😂
Pretty sure Williamson is meaning Ireland as an island regarding there being more Liverpool fans.

Good to see Scottish Football hating itself to death as the English Women’s game overtakes us in becoming more relevant.

It'd be negligent to play Sterling given he'd an issue with his hammy the last 2 games.
I doubt he's available but even if he did declare himself fit I'm confident the gaffer wouldn't risk him again on Thursday.
Yeah agreed, it’s that type of thing previous managers have done and not trusted in the ‘next man up’ philosophy that catches up with the player in question and puts a ceiling on other players as they aren’t deemed good enough.

I’m hoping it’s a good sign the manager mentioned checking Serling and Mcausland for Thursday’s game. If it was really bad at the end of the hibs game he wouldn’t have mentioned Thursday.
Problem with Sterling is he had an ice pack on it after Benfica and then pulled up against Hibs, I would be very surprised to see him this week at all.
Not sure what the injury is for McCausland, I know it came from the challenge against Motherwell but not sure what the issue is.

I’m surprised by the Hibs meltdown tbh. Going into Sunday I seen the game as pretty routine for us and wasn’t worried in the slightest by it. Genuinely
From a few guys I know they fancied their chances with us coming back from Europe, not spoken to them since the result other than a few messages but they are more about Montgomery being no better than Johnson than naughty songs.

They’ve not beat us in 8 years and not won a SPL game against us in 20 years.
Their fans are tarriers without the bus fares and can’t handle it.
Now that they have the Bournemouth money, this is nothing more than a token gesture from board to appease their republican support and also deflect away from another shambolic season and managerial appointment.
Hadn’t thought of the Bournemouth money but makes sense that they can use that for a bit of deflection away from their season been done.

Is this meltdown because a bit of Glory Glory was sang when Boyle was down or is it linked to the pyro when we won 3-0?

Good to see McKinnon getting some more minutes, pity he didn’t get the 3rd goal.

Normally at the game so never had the pleasure of listening to Michael Stewart greeting like fuck at every decision, he’s an absolute clown but his tears tonight were fantastic.
Well done Bears, great result and effort, on to Thursday 🇬🇧

Butland
Tav Goldson Balogun Yilmaz
Lundstram Jack
Diomande
Sterling Dessers Silva
Hard game given squad availability and the current schedule but hopefully we can grind this one out.
Any win will do.

Awful news, thoughts and condolences to his family and friends.

Thought him and Souttar did very well tonight apart from the goals, not for the first time this season either.
Tonight’s mistakes are a bit more forgivable as we were under heavy pressure a few times.

He was pissing me off. That rolling about in the box after Goldson cleared the ball.. cunt. He should have had a second yellow as well, by the way.
He’s a cheating, rat faced fuck.
He’s also a very good player with great set piece delivery, thought Yilmaz did well against him.

Fair play to young Cole Mckinnon when he came on. Can’t have been easy but done his part and had an excellent block.
Thought he did well and helped get us over the line, good to see the manager trusting him as well, hopefully see a bit more of him in about the squad.
-
Great result but so close to the win, thought we played really well at times and show we can hurt them.
Need to cut out the mistakes but given the squad that was available, they are fighting for one another and will give it a go next week but first huge focus on the weekend to bury the tarrier cunts.

Not a lot to go with but that looks more attacking than I thought we would set up.

Buzzing for this game, envious of the bears that are going.
Love big Phil’s presser about winning all games and challenging the team to perform.
Lets get a result and finish the job at home.

I’m torn on what I think should happen here. He seemed like he was going to be a great signing for us but I hate the idea of signing another player that could now start frequently breaking down
Yeah especially given his position if there’s any longer term problems or does it change the potential fee agreed with Lens.
Hopefully it’s just our scar tissue that’s the problem and he’s back with no issue in the summer.
-
Big blow that he’s out for the season which shows how well he had settled in.
Interesting to see if we still sign him in the summer once he’s completed his rehab.

Thoughts and condolences to you and your family mate 💙

That's an incredible stat that we'd been awarded only a quarter of penalties on 1st view.
25 minutes ago, theiconicman said:Agreed - would be interesting to see if that is a stat we see across all penalties this season? I do think Refs now leave it to VAR to correct after the fact now, whether that's an instruction on how to use VAR or a cowardly way out I don't know.
Quite sad but was quite interesting looking at the incidents, a few from set pieces.
The worst one for me is Sterling at St Johnstone but he’s a relatively inexperienced ref so give him a bit of leeway.
Personally think VAR is highlighting a lot of shortfalls in decision making across Scotland but this may be instruction from the SFA on its use.
There should be a collective summit with managers and captains meeting with the senior refs and the SFA to defuse things as it’s out of control.

Cowboys can go fuck themselves with the free agency inactivity, everyone else getting stronger and we re-sign a fucking long snapper 🤦♂️
