Koln is a great place to visit, been twice - cracking local beer Kolsh, and the locals are very friendly particularly if you at least try to make an effort to speak some German. The food was great too, if you are into traditional German cuisine, really like the massive Pork Knuckle joint with sauerkraut and sauted potato. A nice compact city, with a lovely medieval old town as well.

I'm sure they will bringing out the stale rolls as well!!

That is totally correct, they use HD to provide pictures to SKY and BBC. I worked with the company for a while, they broadcast to SKY and BBC via their satellite truck. They also provide celltic TV with broadcast. As you have said it is purely down to the cost of streaming in HD.
