He had an absolute mare.today and will again because he was targeted. He was second to so many one on ones today he left himself exposed after initially being first to the ball he lost possession far too often today however he wasn't alone in that department but for me was the biggest culprit. Their pressing was a big factor but more concerning was the poor play from our players today.

Not long back that was a game of two halves piss poor in a lot of our passing and far too passive going forward allowing the high press from them. The goals were a fucking shambles too much pissing about instead of clearing their lines and for the most part head tennis or hoofing it long was the order of the day as our midfield was rank in getting the ball forward Silva was barely in the game far too many theatrics from him. when his skill in a one on one was badly needed instead continual loss of the ball no protection of the ball allowing their players to just take it from him same on the other side the amount of misread easy high balls not taken down then played automatically instead lost or given out wide to an already marked player not good enough no wonder their press worked all day even in the second half despite a few forays into their box where good passing was shown but was in short supply today . Better second half in some respects but scrappy in the middle . Simas introduction was good for a wee while then he too shows poor ball control and fades out . Cantwel I felt should have been on from the start we were crying out for creativity first half ala young McCausland as well as the wide play most of the game was abysmal . Cantwells fannying about on the touchline trying to ping.it.off the shins of a celtic player caused the third goal imo he should have been smarter by turning inside with the ball away from the player he would have been into space with a run on . He did superbly at the tail end of the game with a great interception to stop them.going clear through into the box after we again fucked up in giving the ball away. Overall happy with the draw but that was so disjointed today we need to learn to calm it down and not be drawn into such a high press where passing becomes that bad you gift goals or possession more than. A few times today they were through on goal but for a great save in one of them.they would have been out of sight through our own ineptitude .
