If the materials had been on site at the start then we should have been back in Ibrox for the start of the season.    The whole programme of works was scuppered and you can't just have sub-contractors sitting around twiddling their thumbs.  They would have other contracts to start and finish.   Next season there is no reason why they can't get it done on time.  Lessons will have been learned from this year.

According to a pic I saw on FF, the upper stand internals are far from finished, perhaps a couple of weeks work left which  suggests that Hibs may be looking at a severely reduced, perhaps CD allocation, as we may need the 1000 odd seats in the corner for CR season ticket holders. This also provides further evidence if any be needed that the original timescale for the works to be fully completed was wildly optimistic. If the Broomloan works do go ahead next season, then it will have to be with the understanding that either we are at Hampden again or the Broomloan is simply unavailable for the first couple of months of the season.

The seats will be replaced in due course, quite frankly having a uniform seat colour around  the Stadium is just about the lowest priority at the moment.

Which is the huge frustration.  We have a far superior squad than the rest of the league apart from Them, we should be going in to every game against the likes of Utd utterly confident of victory, and yet we find ourselves grateful for any sort of win and no injuries.
