Absolutely soul destroying to see so many in this thread stating he’s our best defender.
A guy who who hasn’t been able to defend cross balls for seasons now and is typically about 20 miles away from the biggest goal threats in our box.
He cost us the Europa League final because of his abysmal defending ffs.
Seems like a nice guy, but compared to some of the defenders we’ve had at the club over the years, Goldson isn’t even fit to lace their boots.

Are we really at the stage this fuckin balloon is still a first choice CB. 
In my opinion hes been a dud since the start, cost us multiple finals and league points, tonight dials in a pish performance but still has the cheek to look around at other players. 
We made a cunt of it when he showed fuck all loyalty and never let him fuck off, end up showing our hand and giving him a massive deal. 
Imo needs to get to fuck

Nah, no chance. Goldson is spare at every move that results in a goal. Our best CB's since i was a kid, gough and butcher, met the ball and drove the defense. Goldson is a poor excuse for a defender

We got beaten by Kilmarnock and have huffed and puffed against Morton so I'll hold my horses before thinking that 3rd place in the EL is a gimme.

Scores a goal then ships a free kick and causes a goal within 2 minutes - perfectly sums up Tav.  His goal contributions do not make up for his defensive weakness imo.

He’s our best defender but let’s not kid ourselves here it says more about the others than it does about him.

It’s quite intangible because they are  basically still our two best player, but i just think we are stuck as a club as long as Goldson, Tavernier and Beale are leading us. Far too much scar tissue.

Hes been at the heart of almost all of our fuck ups over the last 5 years along with the other two.
Been saying it for years , we are winning fuck all with those three starting every year.
