  1. I think he has a place as a squad player and as a role model to the younger players. I think he can come on the last 20/25 minutes of games, as we seen against Motherwell and Killie, and have a positive impact. When he is coming on teams are tiring and he has space to create and pick out passes. The problem with Niko is his legs and mobility. So I still find it baffling as to why he started on Saturday in a game were physical attributes are more important than in any other game. Mind you Niko didn't pick himself...
  2. I understand the OPs point but at this stage I would just love 3 points on Saturday.
  3. Very true, my point being we have plenty there to be beating the likes of Hamilton, Kilmarnock and avoid a hiding by them.
  4. Comments in an interview are just that. In the short term it all boils down to the performance and result on Saturday. If we win and win comfortably he will start to get some of his good grace back. Anything less and let's say we lose 2 goals to silly defending then nothing has been learned. I think the true test of whether Warburton is "deluded" or not will be over the coming months. For me and many others this result and performance last Saturday will take a while to get over.
  5. Well all this type of stuff doesn't really matter until January, if at all anymore. We have to go with the squad we have just now which is perfectly good enough on paper.
  6. Well when one side gets shit for the slightest things and the other gets fuck all said about stuff that is just as bad or worse it gets annoying. For example, on Saturday there were pictures everywhere about the toilets and the first story I read about the hanging dolls was all about how their fans were annoyed about it!! Nevermind the actually scummy act itself. Nevermind the last two games against them they have put up signs saying the word H** and not a mention in the press or anywhere else. It's not about being butt hurt but you know for a fact if we had a sign at Hampden in April or Saturday saying Fenian it would be a different story. All of it is bad or none of it is!
  7. You watched it again? You're a lot stronger than me!
  8. I would give him this season and next season unless things go drastically worse.
  9. Fenian is the catholic and sellick N word. They can call each other it but as soon as someone else says it to them they're a bigot.
  10. I don't want to through him under the bus because I'm I believe managers deserve time (especially ones who have served you well). However, after the cup final he seems to have lost his wits. What happened to his philosiphy? 4-3-3? Young players with value on and off the park? Attack-attack-attack? He got out thought today, we let them just walk all over us and didn't change anything substantial. At one point we had 8% possession in a 10 minute spell and that was just before the first goal. Fucking horrendous today. Warburton needs to go back to the drawing board. I'll stick by him even after that embarressment but it needs to change to what he brought at first. Nice thumping of Ross County (easier said than done) would be a fucking start.
  11. We've not played 4-3-3 this season. I don't care what anyone says!
  12. I was thinking about this the other day and I'd definetely take the titles. Why have 4 great days when you can have a full season of it? Plus how embarressing would it be beating your rivals 4 times and still losing the league? Also we can batter them in the cups instead!
  13. Because it was an interview with McCoist?
  14. He needs to dump this Rossiter and Barton idea, with preferably Rossiter staying in front of the back 4. Until Holt and/or Windass are back have the 2 in front of Rossiter be Halliday and Forrester which is much more energetic. It could be argued as well that we're not defending from the front like last season. Waghorn being injured, McKay off the pace and the right side being rotated weekly has forced us to play Miller up top at all times which means no pressing from up front and with no midfield to try and recover it in the centre of the park ends up with us losing goals or winning the ball way to deep and this leads to Kiernan to Hill to Kiernan to Hill and so on which is pointless possession. Personally, I think the losses of Waghorn, Holt (in particular) and potentially Windass has been detrimental to our pressing game and energy. For me you get these 3 back and we're on to something! However, unfortunately, I'm not the gaffer and it's him that needs to finally say enough is enough. I certainly wouldn't want to doubt him after last season, but his principle fast paced 433 that he always talked about has disappeared and become a fragmented 4231 that's extremely rigid. Compared to last season with the 433 which was our very own total football (as crazy as that sounds).
  15. Foderingham is doing just fine. Saved us two points against both Hamilton & Motherwell with some fantastic saves.
  16. I thought the whipping boy was already Rob Kiernan?
  17. United looked very comfortable tonight.
  18. Aye football is pretty shit now. Only 7 or 8 clubs can reach the very top unless they are bought out by some rich Arab.
  19. Like the reply to the e-mail states Sutton is there to be opinionated and that's why he's commentated on every Rangers game this season on BT. It's the same reason why Carragher and Neville are so popular. I'm not saying Sutton is in the same league btw. However, I did feel a Ex-Rangers panelist was needed during Rangers games, so I was glad to see Lovenkrands on Saturday and hope ge becomes a regular fixture on our BT games. I actually think he's been quite impartial when he's been on our games, especially when compared to a lot of others who we would consider "Rangers men". I don't watch Sellik games so I don't know what he's like on them. I still don't like him one bit though because of his time at the Giro dome, but I certainly wouldn't be sending BT e-mails complaining about him. Tim behaviour.
  20. Only these cunts could go to a game of football to protest about something thousands of miles away that has no relevance on their lives. If they care that much away go live there (same goes for Ireland actually) or even better get a job!
  21. Miller had a shit record when he signed from Derby...turned out alright. Waghorn had a shit record before signing...so far so good. I think he'll do a smashing job, he's a good wee player. Also when he finally got a chance at a good side (Preston in League One) he was prolific. Bit of a slump last season, yes, but Preston aren't one of the best teams in that league (Championship). Plus he will bring more qualities than just goals!
  22. The Sky market has never demanded summer football therefore a better deal would not be offered (If there was we'd be getting LOI and Scandanavian stuff all summer). Summer football would improve numbers through the gates and therefore not impact Rangers or them.
  23. I worry for him big time. He is really really slow and wanted way to many touches today and you're not going to get that up here. He is technically fantastic but doesn't have the physical side to accompany it any more. Holt or Forrester should have been ahead of him.
