Championship clubs asked by JRG to review procedures and protocols
Celtic boss Neil Lennon has criticised some clubs for the size of facilities during away games; Lennon said there was no social distancing at the game at Hamilton on Boxing Day while players were "crammed into a little dressing room" at St Johnstone; both clubs denied those allegations
The Joint Response Group (JRG) has asked all Scottish Premiership and Championship clubs to conduct a review of all stadium and club operational procedures and protocols.
The request comes days after Celtic manager Neil Lennon criticised some clubs for the size of facilities during certain away games.
Lennon said his team were "cramped in like sardines" at some matches, adding there was no social distancing at the game at Hamilton on Boxing Day while players were "crammed into a little dressing room" at St Johnstone too.
However, both those clubs denied those allegations and added they met all requirements.
Among a lengthy list of information requested, clubs are being asked to send the JRG plans of the home, away and referee's changing rooms for match days.
That includes the dimensions of each room, the position of each changing station, the position and size of screens and dividers, the position of doors and the position of ventilating windows.
Clubs have also been asked to provide the dimensions of other rooms used by players and coaches - including meeting spaces - and for stadiums using showers, clubs need to include the dimensions of the shower room, the position of shower heads, the position of drains and the position of doors and windows.
A JRG spokesperson told Sky Sports News: "A letter was sent to clubs following a request by member clubs at the recent SPFL general meeting."
It is understood the JRG wrote to clubs to ensure the hard work undertaken by them remains in line with current protocols and public health advice.
Scottish Championship clubs asked if they want to continue season
Scottish FA chief executive Ian Maxwell has written to all 10 Scottish Championship clubs asking if they want their season to continue or if they want the league to be suspended.
All Scottish football below the top two tiers has been suspended along with the Scottish Cup due to increased cases of Covid-19 with Championship clubs contacted on Friday to see if they wish to continue with the 2020-21 campaign.
Hearts currently lead the table as they look to make an immediate return to the Scottish Premiership, with Dunfermline second and Dundee third.

That’s a pretty decent side for Livingston given the number of changes btw.

Could argue the players coming in are fighting to be considered for the cup semi final - so maybe more motivated than players trying to avoid injury??

I so want this game to go ahead, for all sorts of reasons, not least the build up which will be about his meltdown, Dubai, Walker, all sorts lol. Pre and post match interviews with the Managers.
And then hopefully an injury and points dropped.
I remember seeing games plenty of times with snow, lines were swept, orange ball .........................conspiracy!

Celtic manager Neil Lennon's claims of a Scottish government agenda against Celtic are "absolutely appalling," says deputy first minister John Swinney.
Lennon said politics and not public health drove the decision for 16 Celtic players and staff to self-isolate after Christopher Jullien contracted Covid.
Jullien, and subsequently a second player, tested positive following the club's Dubai training camp.
"I'm at a loss for words," Swinney told BBC Radio's Good Morning Scotland.

We've probably got more catholics in our team than them.

Add to that Swinney is a catholic himself. So a sectarian attack from one catholic to another?

Can't wait to hear Lennon's reaction if they do get that pitch sorted for tonight.
Game cancelled twice against Aberdeen but no cancellation against them. That's just going to feed his wee victim mentality even more

Embarrassing the game will go ahead because "the rubber pellets haven't frozen". Fucking joke our league is.

Livingston offer celtic game assurances as snow covered pitch raises call off fears
Heavy snow in West Lothian has settled on the playing surface but the game should go ahead.
Livingston's clash with celtic should go ahead as planned, despite heavy snow on the pitch at the Tony Macaroni Arena.
Neil Lennon 's side travel to West Lothian on Wednesday evening to play one of their three games in hand but images of the playing surface have raised fears the game could be called off.
Heavy snow has covered the pitch and Livingston have twice had to call off a fixture against Aberdeen.
However, a Livi source has assured Record Sport that the game should be able to go ahead.
While the surface is covered in snow, a small area has been cleared and the pitch underneath is playable.
The Aberdeen match was initially called off because the rubber pellets of the artificial surface were frozen solid but after mild weather in recent days that is not the case on the area that has been cleared.
Contractors will clear the rest of the pitch ahead of Wednesday's game and provided the rest of the surface is in the same condition the game will be able to go ahead.
It will be the second time in a matter of days David Martindale's side have faced celtic, with Livi drawing 0-0 at Parkhead on Saturday. Lennon should have the bulk of his 13 players back after their period of isolation while the manager will also return to the dugout.

We know the answer to this but why hasn’t SFA investigated the bigots comments. If St Johnstone and Hamilton are putting other football teams players under threat due to being unable to adhere to protocols then they must investigate.
A normal media is what forces authorities to act and get the truth of matters but we have far from that.

If Livi want it to go ahead but the beggars cite health and safety concerns then surely the SPFL/SFA will threaten the beggars with punishments for not fulfilling the fixture?
Surely.

That pitch is a disgrace. If it get called off they will be what 3 or 4 postponements this year alone. They should be getting their baws rattled for that.

If it's only snowing i'm not sure that's enough to have the game called off? Whats up with sweeping the lines and using an Orange ball?

Usual dirty tricks.
He has been involved in the running of the club for ages so if the SFA are only realising now it makes a further mockery of their governance.
It is also a PR disaster as it sends out all the wrong signals to society about the governments rehabilitation program.
But then again.....
