Great post. Penn State FC has a very significant element within their support that are terrorist sympathisers, at best, active terrorist supporters at worst. If Athletic Bilbao, or any other Basque club, displayed blatantly pro-ETA banners and called for the genocide of all non-Basques, the Spanish FA would shut their ground, fine them millions and probably threaten to throw them out of Spanish football altogether. The same would happen to any other club in any other country in Europe that overtly supported terrorism and displayed banners inciting murder! And nobody would bat an eyelid. Not the EU, not UEFA, nobody. Because such behaviour is completely beyond the pale. We need to bring international attention to the farcical situation in Scotland. Embarrass the powers that be. Force them into action. Clubs have been chucked out of league structures completely for far, far less than the sort of antics IRA FC and their toxic supporters have engaged in.

You do not back down. Ye don't moderate. Ye don't appease. Or compromise. Or accommodate. Or negotiate with those whose sole aim is your destruction. You fight back and you tear them apart. It reminded me of an Istanbul or Belgrade derby. Red Star and Partizan are "on the same side" so to speak, but both sets of supporters love a bit of the old ultra violence. Warburton needs to sit down and think about a few fundamentals. It's obvious that the 4-3-3 isnt working and doesn't look like it's going to work with this current squad. Do something different. He could go 3-5-2 with Tav and Wallace playing as wing backs and Hodson, Wilson and A. Nother across the back. Go 4-4-2 with wee Forester, Windass, Rossiter and M. O'H in midfield and Garner and Waghorn up front. He needs to do something. I can't believe a man who was so successful in the city can be stubborn to the point of it costing him his job. Plan A isn't working and this team, his team, aren't capable of doing Plan A better. Time for Plan B, or C or Z. Something. Anything! A blind man on a galloping horse could see our frailties. I'm a big Warburton fan but I'm rapidly running out of ways to defend him. The most glaringly obvious thing is that there's not a single defender at the club worthy of the name. That's inexcusable. League titles are not won or lost in September. Money has been spent on recruiting players. We've not played well so far but we've not played that badly either. King has, for all his faults, returned the club to something approaching normality. Four years on from us nearly not having a club to support! There are 12 teams in this division. Not 2. The side we had in the early 90s was pure class. Why oh why couldn't we have put one over them cheating Marseille bastards and went on to win the inaugural Champions League.
