***** Rangers vs Newcastle United *****
Negri's lovechild replied to graeme_4's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
I really hope his injury issues are behind him as he is an excellent player when he's fit. I get why you feel that way, i'd sell if we got an offer for him. -
Looks like its going to end up going to a 5th set to decide things.
-
Alcaraz is some talent and he'll only improve. Chases every ball down.
-
I mean in the sense that Alcaraz is going to beat Djokovic before long, that his days of being the best aren't going to last for much longer. It was terrible wording from me, i blame a long day at work 🤣
-
Knows all the tricks.
-
Even if Djokovic wins here, it's a definite 'changing of the guard' moment.

Taking out of the equation any bias Doncaster may or may not have against us, his incompetence is holding Scottish football back in so many ways. They seem to be quite happy with the status quo and clubs not going under rather than actually growing the game properly from grass roots, improving standards across the board and generally fighting for the benefit of all clubs in Scotland. I think this is the negative side of heavy club involvement in the running of leagues and associations, it turns into self preservation and fulfilment rather than what's genuineky good for the game. -
Flippin Eck you mean 🤣
-
Thats brutal 🤣

That's some ball out to the right hand side by Cantwell btw

Welcome back to Rangers Leon Balogun

And potentially 3/4 of the defence that has let us down badly for several seasons (with the exception of one). It's not good enough. -

I've only watched the first 10 minutes of it so far. Eye opening. I'll need to sit and properly watch it when i've got a chance but already i can see that there are so many questions that MP's and the police need to answer. -
Sure we've still got until the end of August. It shows you how well we've done in getting players in early. Your point can be looked at two ways, the first in what you're saying about us being desperate, but the flipside is that we've done the bulk of our buying and we hold the power in terms of clubs wanting to buy our players. We can keep them holding on a little and get the best we can.
-
Its mental how bloated their squad actually is, and that they've wasted 10's of millions on them.
-
Everton still doing Everton things. They need to vastly reduce the age of that group of players and get sellable assets rather than bringing in Young, especially when they have plenty of cover in fullback positions.

How's this for a brass neck?

Chick Young? -
He's done exceptionally well for them, but he's way, way over valued by some of our support. I can see his goals being nowhere near the same this season with their style of play changing and their main threat and creator being sold.

Brilliant. I don't see how anyone can be upset or not like the walks. They're a brilliant spectacle. -
Should we be signing more Scots?
Negri's lovechild replied to MacBoyd's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
I never saw it in Ferguson myself, but it's one of those ones where the move abroad looks to have helped push his development up several levels. -
Did you know ANYTHING about the targets we've signed?
Negri's lovechild replied to Ace's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
I knew Butland, think he'll be a great signing, and a little bit of Lammers with him being at Sampa, but that's it. -
Their style of play will likely change with Rodgers being back, the Asian players in particular were well suited to Posticoglu's style and may take a bit more time adapting to the new style (if they don't all leave). I think if Jota does go, that stifles them upfront and i think weakens the impact of Furuhashi as he won't get the same service.
