He'll get a couple of match ban which will be just enough for MW not have a selection worry with him for the semi. He'll return to training and will work to prove himself and will become the asset we thought he could become.

I wish our support would just take a moment, breath in, and remember that Barton is still a Rangers player.  There does seem to be a strong anti Barton agenda being pushed by the media right now.  I listened to ClydeSSB earlier and someone suggested Barton having massive influence down South and in France with regards to his betting and match fixing was heavily implied without being said.  Compare and contrast to issues such as Celtic signing a known racist in Leigh Griffiths without the media batting an eyelid.  Brown was laying up the city centre pished and eating kebabs and I don't remember any outrage about that either.  The Rangers manager, players, and club itself is under attack from hostile forces so remember than next time you're feeling keen about jumping on the bandwagon.

Would love to see Tav on the ball further forward more, yes his defensive work has improved the last year but his biggest benefit to us is in the oppositions half.

Same as the QOTS game really. Plenty of the ball, caused ourselves problems with poor ball retention and finishing.

I think we are doing OK considering it's the first time most of the team has played up there. but do agree need to be more clinical in front of goal. hopefully with us having an extra 2 days preparation the fitness in the second half will tell and we can score a goal or two.

Its all fine and well him strolling about Ibrox and ripping the piss out of lower league opposition but a game at Pittodrie is initially a battle where you have to earn the right to play and I think in that environment he would be ineffective.
We started him at celtic park and it was an absolute disaster so I would like to think we wouldn't make the same mistake again.

I said tonight at the game that he would have been my man of the match.
Having said that though, I probably still wouldn't start him on Sunday. This game will be high intensity and high tempo, much like the game against them a few weeks ago. Niko is great when he gets space and time on the ball, but he won't get that in these games and his pace and fitness is a worry. That's why I'd keep him for games against poorer sides at Ibrox on the big pitch, such as tonight.

Good point, He's not had a game off since the start of season and waiting for the Christmas break will just see him susceptible to injury I'd give him a couple of games of to end of this month to rest and do the same with Tav next month. They are in my starting team for the Hogmanay game.
