Fashion Sakala is not a good football player. He'll occasionally have an impactful game but he's got the footballing IQ of a pigeon and more often than not lacks a final ball.
He was stupid for playing to the gallery in the run-up to the game and should have done his talking on the pitch. As expected, when it came to the game he couldn't back up his words. Missed a near open goal and plenty of times the attack broke down or he took the wrong decision.
At best he can be an impactful squad player but he should be nowhere near the starting XI in big games like this.

I’m not deluded. Also reckon if we took somebody like Jota he’d be shite in our team. He has nothing to work with, our strikers are rotten. Standing like statues most of the time.

Not having that. He shat it like he has in every game against them. Having a knock had nothing to do with it. Didn’t want to be involved.

Felt he was the only one that had the balls to take the ball and try and do something in the first half. The rest of them couldn’t get rid of it quick enough. They quickly doubled up on him though and pushed us down the right because they knew Sakala is very limited.

Pretty poor show IMO. Think it’s a bit out of order given what Beale has done since his return, and that we’ve got a cup final next week.
They do a lot of good at the club, but they also get above their station at times. Daft one today.

He's clearly overreacted here, and I don't think he's a fan of Morelos in general which I usually agree with him about, and I think he's  probably been fed up with previous Morelos incidents and let a bit of bias come out there and he's wrongly jumped the gun with his comments.
Think he's fucked it and overreacted here as I've said, but I still really like McCann. I'm assuming he'll realise he's made a tit of it and will feel stupid now. But having been one of the best Rangers pundits or even pundits in general for years now then I don't think much more needs said other than he's made an arse of it here in one moment.

I’ve been one of Gio’s biggest critics lately but have to say he deserves credit for today. He got a reaction today and I thought we were really good  for the full 90 minutes. Could’ve been a lot more today. A really positive day all round and puts to bed any talk about the players downing tools. Maybe questions to be asked about why that’s the first we’ve seen that level of intensity this season but it was great just to enjoy the football for a change. Well done Gio and well done to the players. That’s now the benchmark for the rest of the season.
