Kent is abysmal. Get him off right now. I’d also take off Borna and probably Morelos too.

That's a fucking foul on Cantwell. Ridiculous if that doesn't get given.

The way the Scottish media report on him is a disgrace BTW. Cannot wait to rush and print a negative article about him, seemingly on a weekly basis.

That's the really frustrating thing. Not only have we got a lethargic, underperforming squad, we've also lost millions in transfer fees because Wilson lacked the vision to act when he should have (after 55). At their peak you could conservatively say £13M for Morelos, £10M for Kent, £9M for Kamara, £5M for Barisic, etc. No wonder we're scrabbling for bosmans when we've got those kinds of holes in our wallet.
Spending the budget we do have in the English market just seems naïve to me. Everything's so inflated, we ended up paying ~£4M for Davies, who's been no better than Balogun.

Disappointed with willock tbh I think he's a really good player.

He also has a thread about Craig Levein having a walnut whip and a coffee with one of our coaches

Over 50% of our signings over the past 3 years have been from England. On top of 5 signings from Belgium.
It’s not “we only shop in England and Belgium”
But we unquestionably have our largest focus on there. And larger than I think is optimal imo. (Unless we are utilising cross border loop holes for eg Bassey and Aribo).
And our main links so far have been 4 championship players. So that’s not suggesting we are looking to change the strategy which has not brought us the success we want

Should have these at the end of the season and cancel them if we haven’t won anything.

English clubs scout up here like they never have before, especially since Brexit. Most of them will already be as aware of 13-14 year old kids who are talented as we are.
That’s all fine and well about Calvin Ramsay but 3.5 million upfront and probably £15,000 a week in wages for him is a first team level player for us. It’s nothing more than a punt for a Liverpool. That’s where English clubs will always have an advantage over us now when it comes to targeting young players from within our league. They have riches we can only dream of.
Josh Doig was the same. In hindsight it’s easy to say can’t believe we signed Yilmaz over him but Yilmaz was playing for a bigger club, in a better league and at a higher level than Doig was. There isn’t one person on here who if offered the choice last summer would picked a left back playing for a middling SPFL side over a Turkish international left back playing for one of Turkey’s big three.
Yes there’s guys we should have signed, but we also can’t afford to fill our squad with any talented 19-20 year old who breaks through in Scotland on first team wages who are still just potential in the hope that they turn good.

Embarrassing to even award it considering the shit show this season has been tbh.

Agreed. I think there’s only four who have no chance of leaving - Tav, Goldson, Raskin & Cantwell. Other than those four I think any offer that comes in for any player will be considered and probably taken tbh.

Colak just announced he's got a new agent on Instagram. Felt like a strong possibility he'd move on this summer anyway but this maybe indicates it's even more likely.

Hard to get less value from £7M than a left-back who never plays and a CB who's not even an upgrade on Balogun. Maybe we'll manage it this summer.
