Last season the recruitment team wasn’t in place over the summer, the coaching staff basically had free reign to sign whomever they wanted.

He’s also obliged to turn up to the pro license course because if he doesn’t gain his pro license he’s not allowed to manage us.

IIRC you're allowed to manage a top-flight club if you are in the process of completing the Pro License.

I was really looking forward to pre-season because a second placed finish would have meant not playing a competitive game till 26th July and having the best possible pre-season for quite a while, but finishing 3rd and playing 2 weeks beforehand means we probably have less exciting options now.
