The Rangers Football Club is enriched by its British Unionism; it is surrounded by it; insistently reminded by it; consistently emboldened by it; it is forever reminded and historicised by it; it is literally colourised by it, since 1872 through two World Wars and has withstood a century of societal change. You simply cannot evade its resoluteness, and to deny its resilience is to experience a wilful ignorance unbeknown to football itself. To do this is is to support a team that is not present. It is to sing a song that has not been sang. It is to tie a scarf that has not been woven.
To be a Ranger is not to be a separatist. It is not to divide a country from within itself. It is not to vilify the contributions of its contributors. But it is to stand steadfast in times of stress, hinged in unstinted support, in unbroken devotion, to the Gallant Pioneers of the McNeils, Campbell and McBeath. It is to never forget the valiant, Britishness of Tom Vallance and Bill Struth that shaped the Club from its foundations to its current modernity. It is to embolden calmness in adversity and to not dwell on the learned lessons of past societies and past expectations beset upon them. The skills, talents and influence of Great British brethren & countrymen, as well as all foreign Rangers players from across the continents - long welcomed before us, and long ahead of us, because of their grace of Govan - represent, symbolise and embody the principles that you foolishly suggest you protect. It means to tend to the very threads of each Scottish league flag that hangs regally in the Ibrox Trophy Room; those that tell the tourists and passers-by on Edmiston Drive of the Glasgow Rangers Story. Our Scottish nationality inhibits the abilities, the performances, the emotions, and the forgotten sacrifices of each individual associated with this proud Scottish Club since it’s inception.
All of these sentiments ‘daringly’ appreciate the fact that this Club has gave more to the Scottish national team than any within its Highlands or unicorn crofts, while maintaining a strengthened British allegiance, never to be sieged.
In your pursuit, we embolden hold of a flag that will never be hijacked by the voracious, toxic want of your divisive, regressive group. The Rangers support will not be  determined by your sorrowful efforts to victimise, pity and patronise the people of this country, but will be sure to collapse your purpose under its own toxicity and weakness. You have not come as a surprise and will not leave as an afterthought.

One of Scotland’s best known tabloid newspapers has started an investigation after reporters were accused of using “hate speech” on social media.
The Daily Record has confirmed that it is looking into claims that journalists used offensive and discriminatory language on Twitter.
The newspaper ran a front-page story last week disclosing that members of the Heart and Hand football podcast, an official media partner of Rangers FC, had used anti-Catholic and sectarian language in the past.
In response Rangers supporters compiled a dossier containing distasteful comments allegedly made by Daily Record staff members. In one tweet it is claimed that one journalist made an obscene comment about the Prophet Muhammad and also tweeted: “Where are the IRA when you need them?” alongside an image of the 2014 Commonwealth Games opening ceremony in Glasgow.
Others are accused of homophobic comments, with one writer allegedly stating that he had wanted to “stab” a “really, really feminine gay guy”.
It is alleged that writers referred to members of the travelling community as “gypos” and “pikeys” and used slurs against disabled people, Rangers supporters and the Queen.
David Edgar, the founder of Heart and Hand, said in a video posted online that he wanted to “ask the Daily Record if they will abide by the same conditions which they asked us to abide by. Will they apologise for this? Will the members of staff be disciplined?
“And given that the Daily Record said that any organisation who are facing an investigation for this should have their press privileges revoked, can I take it that the Daily Record will be voluntarily agreeing not to cover any Scottish football matches whilst any of their staff who are under investigation for hate tweets are investigated?”
In a statement, the Daily Record said: “A number of historical tweets from some of our writers have come to our attention. The Daily Record takes any claims of discrimination or hate speech very seriously and we have launched a full investigation into the matter.”
The Glasgow-based newspaper had reported that Ian Hogg and Cammy Bell, management team members of the podcast, had used offensive language. Both men resigned and issued public apologies after a police investigation was started.
A number of Rangers supporters claimed they had reported comments allegedly made by Daily Record journalists to the police. Police Scotland said it was unable to confirm whether it had received any formal complaints.

We can now look forward to a full front page exposure from the Record  on their internal investigation with offending journalists pictured ,named and shamed.After all that is the protocol they followed when  they ran the H and H 'exclusive' demanding that the club respond.
That would be viewed as an even handed, just and fair response .Failure to do so will be permanently damaging to the  integrity and reputation not only of the newspaper but its parent company.

At work , so things may have changed , but it is quite striking the lack of exposure,  outside of one newspaper report , this is getting . 
Wheres people like the hag , spears , humza or dornan who are usually quite vocal with this sort of thing . Not even heard a peep out of Police Scotland , for that matter . 
Now we can see why sectarianism has been replaced by anti catholic or anti Irish.
