dummiesoot 16,121
With all the postponements going on, my brother sent me a text that a pitch inspection was happening at 3pm, I assume this is a formality and if the 'footprint' was the problem we would know by now! Tumshie 205
It would be up on the Rangers website. Anyway i doubt the pitch would be the problem it would be the roads round about the ground

Gaffbear 4,106
What's the point of undersoil heating when it doesn't stop a game being called off.
WVB 2,560
What's the point of undersoil heating when it doesn't stop a game being called off. I'm not risking getting stuck on the A9 after the sitting in sub-zero temperatures, so I'm actually hoping its called off tonight, on a purely selfish basis. Been raining and the snow is fading fast Aye, but I'm currently 170 miles away & there's no feckin thaw up here, just mountains & more snow forecast. That's what I get for visiting the family for Xmas i guess.
AirdrieRangers 4
Not fussed if its off but the pitch is fine its the surroundings and gaff bear the point in undersoil heating is that it keeps the pitch playable in bad conditions.
dukestreetsoup 69
What's the point of undersoil heating when it doesn't stop a game being called off. Unfortunately theres no undersoil heating under the roads in the surrounding area Thats the only reason the game would be called off, which it is not going to be. stooarts 4
There is no pitch inspection at Tynecastle, it is a street inspection to check out possible hazards to spectators.

WVB 2,560
This is Ibrox ffs this no Tannadice Park cant see this game being off What about the safety of the thousands of travelling Bears? I would've thought that any sensible police force (sic) would not want the roads full of traffic in these conditions for what is, at the end of the day, just a game of football, which could be re-arranged for a safer time.
